“The owner Tim is very personable, who worked with us to find the perfect set of rings for our wedding. He does not maintain a large inventory, instead, we worked through catalogs and found several items which he quickly got in so we could see, touch and then happily selected! He helped us to select the perfect diamonds for her ring and he handled the sizing and engraving perfectly. No, our rings were not in the store to start with, but our getting so much personalized service came with a price - a price lower than what we had found with other jewelers who might maintain a large selection of mostly unattractive items... A price that meant we were guaranteed to be happy and well cared for. We started as customers and have become friends - we have returned already for other items and will continue to patronize this store for the future!”

“I scheduled an appointment at Brilliant Earth (the Cleveland showroom) to look at wedding bands because I had a less than satisfactory experience at the jeweler where we bought my engagement ring.
As soon as I walked in to the showroom I was greeted by two very welcoming women who chatted with me until my consultant called me back. I loved that the atmosphere was more welcoming and less pretentious feeling, as some jewelry stores tend to feel a bit stuffy and formal. My consultant, Lexus, did a fantastic job helping me select and try on various styles and I really appreciated that she didn’t place any pressure on me in terms of time or commitment to purchase (quite honestly, this alone makes me want to give my business to BE). She also gave me her professional opinions on what I was selecting, which was exactly what I was looking for.
Although I wasn’t ready to purchase anything the day of my appointment, I will absolutely be giving Brilliant Earth my business when Im ready to buy my wedding band. Lexus helped me narrow down my options and I had a really great experience at the Cleveland showroom because of all of the amazing women working there that day. Highly recommend!”

Matt did it quickly, but he also presented a better solution when it still needed to be re-re-sized (I could not bring my mom, so my initial estimate was way off.) I'd go back, plus it is local, having been there for years. And a surprise? There is a room dedicated to unique sports memorabilia. Did not expect that.”

“I came to “Past Meets Present” expecting an antique store, that’s what Google maps said they would be. They are not that at all, but I don’t think they’re trying to be. I would classify it more their store as a bespoke, luxury boutique, catering almost to the “old money” aesthetic. I may not be using the correct words to describe this aesthetic, I am not the target demographic and I am not “in” on what terms would be used. But their aesthetic is clearly very curated, as are the items they sell.
The collection reminds me of my grandmother, it is warm and makes me happy in that way. But it is also very disconnected from how I would choose to style myself or what I choose to buy. “Past Meets Present” is not for everyone, but it is very well suited for those that would enjoy it”
“The people who work at Michael Hayes are extremely knowledgeable. I had some very specific questions about pieces from an estate I inherited, and Belinda knew what every Stone was. I have worked with Michael as well and found him to be honest I’m very reasonable with his pricing. I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else.”

My tennis bracelet had a broken link between the diamonds, they were able to repair and I can't even tell where it was broken and the prices are very reasonable. They also repair my diamond necklace chain. I have a 60 year old watch being clean and the band repair. My mother's ring has stones missing and they are repairing it now. They have replace batteries for my watches and they treat you with respect. When I go there, they are a very respectful business.”
