TERRIBLE Experience 2X - AVOID GERBER AT ALL COSTSWe have had numerous repairs at this same location for 25+ years and through several ownership changes - each and every experience was exceptional from start to finish until Gerber bought the operation.#1 Last winter (2017-18) my wife took her Audi Q7 to Gerber for a front-end repair that they were "not qualified" to repair so it was trucked to an Audi-certified shop in Louisville and the paperwork was lost(!)Thank goodness we had a spare car because it literally took MONTHS to get the vehicle repaired and returned. It was a nightmare. Shame-on-you Gerber Collision & Glass.#2 This week I tried to give Gerber the benefit -of-the-doubt and GIVE them a minor damage repair where a young lady rear-ended my SUV. (NOTE: prior to Gerber you could arrive at your convenience and there were 3-4 people ready, willing and able and HAPPY to help you and take a few pictures for the estimator if one was not available).This time there were NO customers and NO cars in the estimate bay or lot area. Anyway Gerber has "remodeled" and now the receptionist is the only person visible when you enter. She did not hesitate or indicate there would be any problem. She handed me a form to fill out and walked around the corner to get the lady estimator who I could hear talking to a co-worker. A minute or so later she returned and told me the estimator was "busy" and I would have to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT and return another time (to GIVE them my business). I refused and left but was able to return later the same day to a lot with one car, walked in, asked if I could get an estimate and was again told NO. I was irritated, let it be known, told her I was taking my business elsewhere and left...only to be followed out onto the parking lot by the manager - not to intervene and help me or to take pictures for his "overworked" lady estimator - he came out to CONFRONT me for "talking to his receptionist that way" so I read him the riot act!Net/Net - he/they/Gerber lost the battle and our family's business - now 5 households NEVER TO RETURN.From my perspective, both as a customer and the owner/operator of service business since 1982, Gerber needs to revisit its employee's and manager's priorities...and shame-on-me for trying to use them again!REPLY to the owner. As I stated above - I am done with your company. (as a matter of fact - a young lady recently rear-ended my JLR Td6 and I made a point of directing JLR of Cincinnati to NOT USE Gerber of Kenwood and, in doing so, shared our miserable experience with their Service Department)IF you want to contact someone let me suggest you visit your Gerber management and team in Madeira, Ohio and have a "Come-To-Jesus" meeting with them regarding "Customer Service". Good day.

From the person who helped me book the appointment, to the technician who did the work, and then the follow up again from the office, everyone was professional, on-time, helpful, clean, caring. They were able to come to my house and replace the rear glass that was shattered. I hope you don't have to fix your car, but if you do, I definitively recommend them.Service: Auto glass repair

FYI long post coming. Lets just start from the beginning. Unfortunately got into a minor accident after work a few weeks back. Thankfully nobody was severely injured. I was the one at fault (meh). There was slight damage to my car and the stress started. I knew I would have to get my insurance involved to try to find an auto repair shop ASAP. I looked around and went to Gerber that Saturday for pictures to assess the damage. This is when I met Rick. He advised they would give me an estimate the very next Monday. Got the call and they told me the earliest they could start working on it was the next week Tuesday. At first I was nervous because Thanksgiving was coming. Ultimately went with them. They assured me it would take 2-3 days. But after taking my front bumper off is when they saw the real damage inside. There were so many parts that needed replaced. And because of this that my repairs would be pushed until Tuesday/Wednesday (right before Thanksgiving). That mean't I was without my car for longer than I expected. But then surprisingly Rick they could still meet their original deadline. Was very happy with the results. The car essentially looks brand new. Everyone there from Rick, Andrew, Jaclyn, etc were all very helpful and professional!! Even when I received the car and I noticed my driver side door handle was not working, they replaced it and took off the cost of labor if I just paid for the part. Never been so satisfied with everything because finding an auto repair shop can be daunting! Highly recommend using them! Hopefully I never get into an accident but if I do I'm definitely 100% using them.

I have used Gerber Madeira, OH twice to repair body damage. On the second occasion, I had a prepaid Speedway gas card that was taken from the car. I brought this to manager's attention and was told it would be replaced. I have given it a week and that has not happened.
You are only as good as your weakest link and you word. You weakest link stole from me and your manager did not honor his statement that he would replace the stolen card.
The repair work done to my car was very good on both occasions. Unfortunately, the employees are not trustworthy. I can not endorse a company that I do not trust.

Great job fixing my car... Rick was great on the service he provided, he kept me informed on every step... He even offered to drop off the car at my place.... I would definitely recommend this place...

Jessica was extremely nice and professional the entire time. I could go on for multiple paragraphs on the levels of service and how far above and beyond they went, but to keep it simple, I'll never use another auto body shop again.

Great job repairing my car! It looks new and I really appreciate the updates throughout the process. The phone calls and texts were appreciated! Hopefully I won't need to do anymore car repairs for awhile, but would definitely recommend and come back. Thanks again!
