The pharmacist here has mostly biased attitudes towards foreign customers. The staff and pharmacist are rude, refuse to fill prescription maltreating another physician colleague. I have noticed her making a minority customer wait for far longer and filling prescription for others before.Bottom line is, even if you are a physician with funny accent - you will be maltreated by the pharmacist here.Avoid this pharmacy at any cost.

Staff is exceptional. As with any other pharmacy they will have problems at times, but always explained. There is obviously a reason. Just listen and staff will give you all the answersa

This is a review of the Kroger Pharmacy on Miami Ave in Madeira, Ohio. I am a retired man with wife in Traditions at Camargo. United Health Care referred me to this pharmacy for a continuous diabetes meter as I have a tremor making needle stick for glucose reading requiring 3-5 needle into my fingers for the blood needed to test my glucose.Went into the Madeira Kroger to find out if they had the script from my primary care physician. No was the reply from the clerk, only for a glucose monitor in April. We do not bill Express Scripts part B. I ask can you call my Doctor. I ask repeatedly. The next day called United Health Care to verify Kroger was a vendor for UHC, short answer yes, they are a provider.Called Kroger asking to speak to a Pharmacist, tried to explain the situation. She got angry and we had words and ask her Supervisor to call me. Our conversation became heated when I said if you can bill for flu shots to UHC or Medicare you can bill for my monitor. I became frustrated, got loud and upset. She said their pharmacy would no longer provide service any scripts or services to me.This Kroger has many cognitively employees put in jobs they are incapable of performing; dooming them to fail and put in humiliating situations. So beware of using this Kroger Pharmacy. They are not trained how to bill Medicare part B and aren't interested in learning.

Please please please do not use this pharmacy. They are incredibly rude, avoid you for more than 40 mins to and hours and this how they treat patients daily!!! I have finally changed pharmacies after the pharmacist hung up on me as I was asking if my prescription was ready, which it hasn’t been filled in days after sending in the request. Go anywhere else but Kroger pharmacy on Miami Ave. Im honestly doing you a favor.

Worst pharmacy that I have been to. No medication on stocks and does not care about coordinating to other pharmacies.

Went to this location tonight specifically to buy some good mustard, sausages or brats, some good buns, a side, like potato salad, and whatever else sounded good. Look at the picture I uploaded. Their mustard selection is absolutely pathetic. There's basically 3 shelves (minus the two filled with the bright yellow stuff) with those 3' wide and not fully stocked. I was amazed. I said something to another customer in that aisle and he agreed. Said he lived in the area, but avoids this Kroger unless it's impossible not to. I guess I was expecting a store right next to Indian Hill to have more selection and higher-end items. Nope. Madeira and Indian Hill people, the Clifton Kroger, and believe it or not, the Mt. Washington Kroger has more selection. Being a quick dinner for one, I went back to the deli-ish area where they had pre-made sandwiches and wraps, etc. I see a chicken salad croissant with no price tag. I pick it up, flip it around, nothing. Look all around the cooler bin it was in, there were a few (3?) bar code stickers that had no writing, and no prices. I went to the next cooler bin looking for any prices on anything, nope. I might have hit another one, but no prices on anything. Maybe they were $5? Maybe they were $30? I'm not going to buy anything that doesn't have a price, sorry, just a rule of mine. Am I wrong? So I ended up with a frozen dinner that apparently takes 90 minutes to heat up. Guess dinner is at 10pm tonight. I would have spent way more money on all the items going into a simple bratwurst meal, but I spent $9.49 on a frozen dinner. 2 stars because these are 1st world problems and I feel like I'm whining. Check out the pic tho!

You will either wait in line for 30 minutes or stay on the phone for 30, staff is rude and not very competent

I've been using the Kroger Madeira pharmacy for years and more so recently for meds after my knee replacement. I have never had a problem getting them quickly. The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions regarding medications. Its not my local Kroger but I'm very happy to drive a bit further for their service.

This is specifically towards the deli department. The rest of the store and employees are great. The deli department, slow, no enthusiasm in working. They take their sweet time every time, even when they see a lot of people forming around the deli counter. No sense of urgency. No respect for anyones time. Constant conversation with their co workers but rarely chat with you while they are finally attending you. Maybe you can have a class on how to interact with customers.

This company gets worse every day. I live in the city where they are headquartered and the fact that do not have local products on a regular basis is absurd. They are out of many things on a regular basis. I have wasted over $83 in gas this past year because I needed to make multiple trips for items they did not have or had to drive to another location where they did not have it. The app always says it is in stock but it is never correct. The only reason I continued to shop there for as long as I did was for the fuel points. Now that I have done the math, I understand that reason no longer is valid. Kroger has lost me as a customer and will now go to Meijer, Walmart or somewhere else instead.

This place used to be very good about getting your easy prescriptions within 30 minutes. For the past 7 months I've been getting my prescriptions here, they've changed how they fufill prescriptions. As of September 2021, they started having "time slots??" when you pick up your prescription. Very strange for a grocery store pharmacy. So I order my refill at 10am, they tell me it will be done at THREE PM. normally they said 30 minutes tops but now its 5 hours??? They tell me this is how its done now. This is probably due to the COVID worker shortage but I have the notifications on the phone that tell me when they finish my prescription. It finishes by 11:09am. Why?? why did they have to tell me it would take 5 hours when it took only an hour??Very strange but still quick even with their ridiculous changes

Pharmacy is the best! Smaller size makes for faster in/out with everything I ever need!

Horrible customer service, except for Opal. She is amazing! Long waits in line (even if there is no one else in the line) and long waits to get prescriptions filled. Sometimes you’ll stand there for 5 minutes before they even acknowledge you. On several occasions, I’ve been told to come back tomorrow, only to be told the prescription still isn’t ready. Also, it wouldn’t hurt if the staff woild at least pretended to like their jobs. Such bad attitudes!
