I went into this Dollar General today to do a Western Union money transfer, which was advertised online as a service they provide. When. Got there the cashier didn’t know what I was talking about, let alone how to complete the transaction. It should be noted that there is an also a large sign above the cash registers that specifically advertise Western Union money services. When I pointed that out she said she’d call her manager who told me to give her 10 minutes to get to the store and she would complete the transaction for me. Ten minutes go by and the manager calls back to say that there’s a 30 minute video all employees must watch before they can be certified to do the WU money transactions, and that nobody in the store has seen the video or can complete my transaction. If these services cannot be provided I don’t understand why they’re advertising that they can. Don’t waste your time if you need a money transfer!

dear dollar general no one i mean no one wants to wait 5 min for one item no one in line self check out is not on u have one behind counter doing god knows what and not even looks at u. so the one and only person behind me i said very clear and loud gee would love self check out then theres no waiting

Nice store. I just wish they had fresh fruit and veggies. Also, there's no cell service inside the store. You also can't connect to their wifi. Which stinks when you want to look at the digital coupons in the store or penny shop.

The young lady that works there dose not know how to put the right amount of money in and she is very rude and has very bad customer service me,my family and friends are never going to this location again

Liked everything, except for the fact that I'm allergic to just about everything. I can't wear the regular throw away masks.I'm allergic to the material that they are made of, when I informed the manager of this he asked for proof! I am not required to show you proof that wearing one of those WILL close my throat!! Besides the fact that I am risking not only my life...also the lives of those with whom I share a home!!!

This dollar store is always so clean and tidy. Things are easy to find, the employees are friendly, and most items are always in stock.
