Whoever manages this store has zero control over the front end staff. These snooty, tired, aggravated people always get into our business, have scowls on their faces and like to huff and sigh. This has been going on every single time we come, and they are the usual group of older women who really don't care whatsoever. This is a pricey store, the management needs to reign in their front end.

Although this location doesn't offer curbside, I have to say that their staff is wonderful! Especially Helen in the Deli! A few times we have stopped at the deli for some garlic or mushrooms in oil and herbs, and it is completely sold out. If Helen is working she will whip up a fresh container for us every time. She is great. I really appreciate how clean this location is kept and it is just an all around good place to shop for your groceries.

Disgraceful ! I travel all over the entire country and not once have I ever been told that I cannot buy a loaf of bread and jug of milk without a loyalty card, or whatever it’s called. I choose not to share my personal information to corporations that will sell and or sell it and am willing to pay the higher price for an item to not be part of that. I was told that I could go to a cashier, only one available, behind 2 people with full shopping carts , to make my purchase. Corporations have trained us, the public, to do our own checkout so they can reduce payroll and increase profits. I’m here for several months and I will not shop at any Giant Eagle store again. I will drive the 20 miles into Mentor to shop at Meijers. Wake up sheeple, when is enough enough.

I can’t say enough good things about the customer service in this establishment. To the kind woman associate that took the time to help me while my special needs toddler was having a meltdown, I thank you. From the bottom of my heart, you made an extremely overwhelming situation more manageable for me and I appreciate it more than you know. Thank you.

A lil pricey but its clean and has good fresh produce section. I was looking for cabbage and the produce guy passed through and offered to look in back bc what was out was good but he looked to see if there was better in back. Has many self checkouts and not 24 hours and always dead when I go no matter what time of day.

Honestly, I want this to be a good grocery store. But the quality of the produce is hit and miss, although that's likely a chain issue, not the individual store's fault. The main issue here is they can't staff the place. Long lines and they often have only one cashier working and, of course, the self-checkouts never work. Most of the staff seems tired and grumpy, which I don't doubt since only three or four people seem to be working the registers and customer service at any given time. One clerk is so rude and unpleasant that when people see him mamming a register they will do anything to avoid him. Maybe if GE would pay people a decent wage they would get more people to work there. Maybe even some happy, friendly people! I drive 20 minutes to a nearby town forost of my shopping now.
