I needed a new air compressor. Due to the parts shortage it was difficult to find and took a week to get shipped in. Dominic had the old one out so that he was ready to install the new one as soon as it arrived. Once it got here, he got it in and I was back on the road in just a couple hours. Really appreciate him doing everything possible to get my repair completed as quickly as possible. Thanks!

I took my semi to the tire shop for steer tires. They told me that the king pins were worn out and suggested that I call this place. I called and got a quote that was reasonable. I brought the truck in for the repairs as scheduled. The job took 1 1/2 days longer than they said. When I went to pick the truck up I was presented with a bill that was twice what they quoted me. I was not happy with the bill and the fact that they couldn't call me to approve the extra expense. Because of their lack of integrity, I decided not to come back for any other repairs I might eventually need. . I had new tires put on the truck and the alignment done. One year later I noticed some odd wear on the front tires so I took the truck to the tire shop. They told me that the king pins were bad again. This was the same shop that told me about these folks. The truck had regular pm done and had been greased in between pm's. I took the truck back to this place to see how well they stood behind their work. They checked the truck and told me that the king pins were good and that the problem was loose wheel bearings. They charged me $80 to tighten the bearings. I went back to the tire shop for tires. They again told me that the problem was the king pins. I took the truck to two other mechanic shops for another opinion. BOTH shops told me the king pins were bad. Congratulations to this shop, you got me twice. I make sure to relate my very negative experience to everyone who asks me if I know a good mechanic.

I go here for all my truck work, small or large, the job is done promptly, done right, and certainly a good price! The only place my work gets done when possible.

Do not stand by their quoted prices. No extra work completed. Feeling ripped off.

Road call ! Cannot perform filter removal on the spot. Towing can cost you 2k to change oil! Before dealing with them make sure you know what you paying for. Because it's ripoff place.

Roadside bait and Switch. Donald (owner)Quotes 100.00 Service call, $100 per hour and 3.00 per mile. Dominic(son)goes out makes repair on tractor, then wants paid $735.00 (NO PARTS all labor) called them out at 748pm they were calling for payment at 940pm. Thats less then 2hours. a lot of companies have 2hr Minimum. I understand that fully. will say they went 25 miles each way. Time frame says they couldn't have went further. service call $100, 2 hrs of Labor $200, 25 miles x2 x$3.00 per mile. = $450.00 x 10% tax $495.00 total. Somehow they added another $240.00 ***BEWARE ROADSIDE CROOKS*** Stand by your quoted Price Gentlemen. If you want to do $750 service calls fine that is your choice. But quote it that way. $250 service call $3.00 per mile 50 mile min and $250 per hour. That way I have a educated choice to say NO THANK YOU! Did get our truck running Though! Thanks for a Great Experience! Addition to after remarks made by owner... the driver is in a 2017 Freightliner with 85000 miles. Concerns for safety???? I do reviews on companies that treat our company badly. So that other companies have a good understanding of the hidden cost your company throws in. I'm not the owner of Comstar Enterprises by the way just an employee who cares! Look me up... I'm not hiding behind a company NAME
