Lived here for about 6 years. Improvements came too little, too late. Not a bad place to live, but it wasn't phenomenal either. Affordable. Current management much better then the old management. Maintenance quick to respond to issues, but slower then molasses in January to repair holes they cut in walls to fix leaks. Say they'll return in 72 hours once everything is dry, but several months later, hole still in closet wall. They will charge you for any little thing wrong, even if you have written confirmation you won't be held liable by them.

It's been 2 months stay in Island Club Apartments, stay is very nice and they have done excellent renovation to the apartment unit. We love it. Only concern we have is electricity bill which is way higher than what is expected and compare to other Apartments. There is portion of gas usage charges in bill which has fixed charge of 31$ every month which look odd. Request you to investigate.

My husband & I are current residents here at Island Club. We have been here for the past 3 years, going on 4 and we absolutely love it. There is really no other leasing team, maintenance staff, and community like this that can compare. A new property manager took over earlier this year and the transition went so smoothly and seamlessly, Maria & Kate are both amazing. Ryan went absolutely above and beyond to help my husband and I do an in unit transfer and made sure we were happy with our new place. I cannot express how grateful I am for them being willing to work with us during a very confusing time. Despite some delays in some maintenance, they are the sweetest team who WILL ALWAYS get the job done. Bob & Paul are our dogs favorites and always want to say hi when we see them around. They are constantly working to make this place better over time. I feel very safe and comfortable walking our dogs & son late at night as the neighborhood is family friendly. We look forward to staying here until we find our forever home!

I’m a potential resident and went in for a showing today with Ryan. First, let me say I was very taken with the overall appearance as I pulled in and then everything went up from there. The office was impressive to say the least and so inviting. Then I met Ryan.Not only was he easy to talk to, informative, and could answer every question I had, he made it all seem effortless and smooth. Ryan is definitely a perfect representation of professionalism and approachable; something you don’t encounter a lot these days. While I haven’t decided, I know my apartment hunting ended here. These people go the extra mile!

We visited island club leasing office today. It was excellent , Ryan gave us all the required information and was more than helpful by answering all the questions we had. Model apartment was good . We are evaluating the distance to the work place but other than that I wouldn’t even think twice before I would fill in the application. Ryan thank you so much for helping us with all the information. People like you bring lot of value .

I have had a great experience at the Island Club Apartments! The apartments are very reasonably priced for the area, and everything you could need is within 10 minutes. I would, and have recommended them to several of my friends!

Mold, producing mushrooms, growing from wall- Maintenance was supposed to remove drywall, treat studs, seal it and put up new drywall. I was out of town and warned of strong bleach smell upon my return. Such poor work I could not tell that any drywall had been replaced. I was provided pictures, otherwise I could not see that they had done anything but paint over the mold and add a piece of trim. The maintenance guys here have been rude and take no pride in their work. No one from corporate will ever answer or return calls. Shame on Hill's Properties for only responding when a bad review shows up and the Better Business Bureau sends them your complaint. Poor customer service, certainly not "luxury apartments".

This is a great community to live in! The office staff is so nice and helpful and any issues we have are resolved quickly. It’s feels very safe as well because the door into each building needs a key, so there is an extra layer of protection to your front door. They really care about their residents here!

Island Club apartment’s maintenance team is awesome! Rob, one of their maintenance employees does a great job with his work orders. He is polite and comes in and does his job quickly such as fixing my guest bath towel rack and unplugging the master bathroom’s sink. When I came home from teaching at UC, I saw his work order showing he completed the maintenance task. He did an awesome job unplugging my master bathroom sink. More so, he cleaned up after this job. I just wanted to commend his excellent work especially his cleanliness. Thanks Island Club apartments for your quick response and fine work!

My girlfriend and I lived here for a year and overall the experience could have been better. There were numerous issues which we notified the leasing office and maintenance of and we got responses days later and even times we'd ask for things to be fixed and then the leasing office would say maintenance would fix it and they wouldn't come or if they did the job was not completed.The issues primarily started with the water and it was shut off randomly more than 11 times over the course of the year we were there, definitely not a good experience in the middle of winter and even in the heat of summer. We notified the leasing office of issues with the bathroom ceiling and maintenance came and looked at it and then never came back to fix it. The dog park also had an extremely large hole in the fence any dog could fit through and this was not fixed even though we asked a few times in the 12 months we were there. The gutter also broke in one place and their solution was to cut the gutter off which caused the water to flood patios and this was never fixed in the last 4 months of our staying there despite us telling the leasing office.Would we move here again? Based on the overall upkeep of the property we would not.

This place is a joke . The maintenance team is rude. They recently increased the rent but they haven’t changed the appliances and water heater which has been leaking for a long time . I am tired of raising this issue to them. It’s due to bad rental market we are unfortunately stuck with them. I urge everyone to avoid this place .

Wow! I am speechless..in a good way. I left a brief this request this afternoon for maintenance on our dishwasher as it wasn't cleaning properly, but not a major emergency. Upon arriving home I was greeted by a wonderful note from Paul who had visited the same day to clean the unit and lines...as well as starting a load of dishes it contained (wasn't anticipating such a speedy response lol ) . Very appreciative and very ? happy. Thank you!! Have a great day and take care. #love-our-new-home

Just recently moved into my new apartment and it smells awful (smells like curry). The dishwasher, fridge, and stove are filthy. The walls and ceilings are all cracked and stained. They never cleaned the apartment, hence the awful odor and dirty appliances. The property management is unhelpful.
