“Part of the Countryside YMCA network, Landen is definitely smaller than the main Countryside Lebanon location—but don’t let the size fool you! What it lacks in space, it makes up for with amazing group fitness classes. From Zumba and Barre to Cardio Mix, Pilates, Pound, Yoga, TRX, and more, the variety and quality are top-notch.
There are multiple studios dedicated to group classes, which makes scheduling and attending a breeze. While the gym has fewer machines and a small bathroom/shower area, it does offer Child Watch, which is a huge plus for parents.
Honestly, even compared to the larger YMCAs, Landen stands out for its fitness classes. If that’s your focus, this place delivers!”

“We are an Italian family that recently moved in Ohio. MKU of Mason has been our first childcare, and we are having a great experience. Our son started at 10 months in the infant room, and all the teachers helped him to adjust in his new routine, showing kindness and care. Ms Clarissa, headmaster, and all the staff supported our family with patience and cordiality. Now our son is always happy and smiley when he arrives at school and when we pick him up in the afternoon. He is learning new things and growing every day in a nurturing, lovely, and calm environment.

The teachers are incredibly warm, nurturing, and truly invested in each child's development. “Years ago, I bought my family a Yamaha entry-level electric keyboard. My 7-year-old daughter’s joy was unforgettable: “I didn’t even know I wanted this so much!” We played it so much that we quickly outgrew it. I explored getting an acoustic piano but faced three challenges: 1) We needed a real piano, 2) Free pianos were everywhere, but I knew I couldn't detect a huge problem, and 3) Good pianos cost as much as a reliable used car.
Frustrated, I sidelined my love for piano. The basic keyboard was teaching us bad habits, and my annual searches only led to electronic pianos I could afford I didn’t want or costly acoustic ones. Free or cheap pianos risked hidden issues I couldn’t spot.

I bought it sight unseen, and now, three months later, my family plays it multiple times a day, exploring new musical interests and performing for each other.

“My five year old attended summer semester this summer at TGR Madeira. We live in NKY, but I work in Madeira, so the proximity to my work was incredibly helpful, for summer care.
The teachers were warm and welcoming, and had scheduled programming that integrated play, learning and outdoor time at just the right pace for summer. “Our family has been at COA for 2.5 years and we have had the most amazing teachers during that time! Ms Sydney, Ms. Pat, & Ms. Allie were the most supportive, caring, & fun teachers my girls could have asked for when we first started and they are still some of our girls favorite people! Now that they have moved to older rooms, Ms. Kaci and Ms. Maddy have been great with the transition! But the real rock stars at COA are the amazing directors, Ms. Karen & Ms. Cherie! They go above and beyond for anything my family needs, including bussing my girls to school! The consistency at this center under their direction is amazing & the best place for our family.”
