I’ve been to this location several times. It’s so nice to have somewhere quick to pick something up on my way home from work etc. The self checkout has always worked for me here, unlike the other DG locations I frequent. I’ve never had issues with them not being open when they are supposed to be but I’ve heard other people make that claim. Located on St Rt 314 just north of US 42 in Johnsville. Convenient stop on the way to Mid-Ohio Raceway or Clear Fork Reservoir if you are approaching from the south.

The lady at the register was rude and as I told her to just delete the self checkout and I would just do cash she told me not to tell her what to do and she wasn't my maid. I will never shop there again.

Is this a corporate owned dollar general or a family owned business? There house are Monday- Friday 10-8. Which even that is unreliable. You never know if they're open or not. They need more employees.

One of the less put together DGs I've been too. There are generally carts with merchandise all over. The store just has a messy feel overall. Also you'll notice some of the stock doesn't have prices on them. In general a pretty rough store.
