It's great fun fishing if you know what's biting on what but it's the memories bonding with nature in the background in this... impulsive city. The pics are my granddaughter and I talking about her new sister that was born in that day. We had a big long day. And then we played more.Picnic area: Watch for poop from geese everywhere, bring wipes for hands.

Many walks, but there are a few areas with ponds after heavy rain.Picnic area: Roof over a few tables with a small parking area nearby.

I’m new to the area and always looking for new places to walk/hike. This place looks nothing like the photos on here. Maybe it did at one time. It’s very dirty. Trash everywhere. Trash cans overflowing. Trash all over the edges of the pond. There was no way I was letting my dog even stick his feet in the water.Graffiti on all the shelter areas. Picnic tables flipped upside down. A couple needles. Obviously stolen items along the edges of trails. I’ve been hiking with my dogs alone for decades and not sure that I have ever felt so sketched out by an area

Came for the bike trail. Bike trail is great. Any Eagle scouts in Mansfield? This park could use a lot of work!

It's ok, but the safety level at this park has gone downhill in the last few years.

Shady place. It's in the ghetto of Mansfield. I drove through to see a group of teens filming themselves fighting. I started to get out of my car and felt at risk. I can't imagine after dark.

A nice place for a picnic and you can access the rails to trail bike route from here. Lots of signs posted that lead the way along with information about where it goes and mileage included. We were just driving through to check it out and did not stop for picnic or restrooms.

The pond is surrounded by suspicious geese. A lot of them. I don't particularly care for giant gangs of geese. And there isn't a play ground for the kids just an open grassy area and a parkour exercise course. The start of the bike trail is here. I like walking the trail sometimes. But it's prettier, there's less foot traffic, and not so ghetto down by the second and third entries to the trail a little further out. Tbh.

The lake is polluted. The area is where the picnic tables are beside the bridge some of the picnic tables have burn marks on them. The signs have graffiti. On them the fascia of the roof has been caught on fire before. There was a very friendly Pitbull walking around so it's very dog friendly. Back where all the play equipment is somewhat in good shape. The park should be better taken care of but I could see how it would slip somebody's mind because of the area it's in.
