Great organization. Their workers are always active getting food for donations or serving the community

While in town visiting family we joined a group from the local Presbyterian church to pack food boxes. To see the warehouse full of donated goods was heart warming. It was a great service opportunity for our group ages 6 to 70+.

Absolutely the worst experience I ever encountered. Needed a place to stay,I have guaranteed income, had all the paperwork in order, even had to pay for a application on zillow just to be put in a place.the day I had to leave my old place? They shut off their phones for 10 days, after the last thing they said to me was," don't worry,we will put you somewhere. " oh really,I guess homeless counts as somewhere? After I had to scramble and rent a uhaul, and begged for a room to stay in,they started emailing me with the most lame excuses of why they ghosted me.then they kept sending emails asking if there was anything else they could do for me? As if they did jack shyt except lie to me.this was all in a partnership with the veterans administration also that failed me.making promises of telling the landlords we pay double security deposits and rent for 6 months.oh you do? You did none of that for me.and left me to die in the streets.every single bell ringer I see every kettle that they hold out for donations should be completely empty every holiday season.you failed me after I did everything I needed to do.even signed about 30 pages with them.and nothing.i hope you have a great Xmas. Knowing you hurt this disabled veteran to his soul.i wish I never fought for this country.you failed me 100% with no explanation of why.you are hypocrites, and use Jesus as a means to collect cash, for yourselves.enjoy it.you deserve every penny.your whose business model is based on the homeless and unwanted.all for your profits.

This place is a pillar of our community. A great place for resources and information for families in need. #1 in my book!

There’s free prepackaged uncooked food out every morning at 9:30am or 10:00am or later (whenever the truck arrives). It’s a lot of bread and canned goods, sometimes produce, that has dents or is near expiration. Then there’s the once-a-month box where you get to choose from refrigerated and frozen goods - there’s good stuff if you get there early and are the first people to sign in. They also give you a large cardboard box full of canned and dry goods, but it’s off brands and it’s hard to give the stuff away to family; never anything in there I want to eat.Get there an hour early; be prepared to sit for a long time in the lobby and wait it out next to people from all walks of life, all personalities, all states of mental wellness and physical wellness. Be kind and give up your seat and stand if you can. They serve everybody. Loving, accepting, and they don’t judge. Don’t take what you don’t need because there’s somebody there who needs the limited supply more than you do. Not sure what happens to people who are home bound or too weak or sick to come in person and wait long periods. Had to go here once or twice during a hard week. Also donated surplus goods a few times when I’ve moved. Glad they’re around.
