R44 Butcher and Baker Shoppe is a cool place in Mantua with super nice and very helpful staff. The shop offers a nice and affordable selection of fine meats that are outstanding and fairly priced. The separate, great little bakery is adored for its quality products. Food items receive high praise, including the best Italian sandwich, fantastic and huge subs, the best coleslaw, ridiculous maple potato salad, and five-star soups and chili that change regularly. It is an awesome place highly recommended for meats and lunch.

Hands down my favorite sub stop and meats always amazing quality. Would recommend to anyone. This is a place I'd drive well over a few hours just to get the top notch product!

First time here. My NY strips were great and my club sub was amazing. I’d make the 45 minute trip to get that again!
