Worst family dollar I've ever been to... worst customer service.. they treat you like you're going to steal something. My purse is a small backpack and the manager said she would have to kick me out if I didn't leave my small bag with my phone and wallet in it. Asked her if she makes people leave their purses there she said yours is not a purse it's a bag... What is the difference??? She asked me to leave... was going in to shop for a few items.... I would rather drive to another store in order to avoid this kinda treatment. I would NOT recommend this place.

Terrible Family Dollar. They have a little short haired young black female in the store working as the manager and she has a nasty attitude out of this world. Argues with customers, disrespects the customers, curses you out, refuses to correct a wrong ring up, etc. I'm an older woman and I've never been disrespected by anyone until today. She refused to give me her name but it's the Family Dollar located on Northfield Rd in Maple Heights. She slso said it was her last day so she don't give a "bleep". I told her just because it's your last day does not excuse you to treat the customers nasty. I will never step foot in that store again if these are the type of people that's running it.

One of the best Family Dollar stores I’ve ever been to. I love shopping at this location and the one on Dunham Road. The Northfield Road location is stocked well, clean and have friendly cashiers and managers. However, I’m giving it 4 stars for their opening hours of operation only. On their website and Google it says they open at 8am. However when I arrived the doors were still locked. The person who was in the store, finally opened at 8:30am. If your hours states 8am on your window, then that is when you are supposed to open.

This store is cleaner than most in the area . BUT watch your receipt! Three times this week they display prices but when u get to register it's more! I always buy my dogs treats and been $2 for years. It even displays $2 but get to checkout and it's $2.85...the clerk says the sale does not start till tmrw. I'm like what sale? This is the normal price. She could not explain it. I do not care if it's 85 cent. It's falsely overcharging. Especially if you doing everyone like this.

Another bad example of customer service! I'm shocked they even had items in stock I wanted. Fire the entire staff and rehire. Idk why these young adults have no respect and bad manners. It's really an embarrassment to the urban community to see our young black men and women be so damn rude!
