absolutely the worst bank ever. Do not trust them especially Teresa Rempel... let me say that again so humans do not get in my same situation, DO NOT TRUST TERESA REMPEL from Marietta peoples bank. I was struggling to get catch up on a car payment as I have just gratuated as a massage therapist (yay). Teresa knew the situation and was working with me to stay from reposession. On a recorded like she said dont worry you will have 90 days till I send it out and i will work with you. Woke up yesterday morning to my car being gone as she went ahead and had it towed even though I was not 90 days late. what made the situation worse was when I called to ask how to get my car back instead of simply telling me how she ridiculed me about not paying it (almost felt like I was getting yelled at by a parent, super weird situation). I asked her several times to tranfer me to the manager as she was not helping me at all and she refused and hung up on me. I get people are allowed to be horrible and miserable people but I wanted to write this review so she doesn't do this to another person. It was gut wrenching to wake up to no car when I needed to be at work. I couldn't imagine if I had a sick child that needed to go somewhere. After looking her up on linked in to give a review I seen she was a middle aged cis woman so now it made sense why she's such a miserable person. Once again the CIS WHITE WOMAN you don't want to bank with a name is Teresa Rempel. i will also be in the process of moving my loan to my own personal bank as they have always helped my husband when in need.

Used to be a good bank went down hill in the last 5 years. Didn't think a savings account could be dormant when putting money in it every 2 weeks . NOT A GOOD BANK TO DEAL WITH .

First they sent me a letter saying my credit wasn't any good .Told me it was a standard letter.Which my credit is excellant. Then I try to cancel my loan, said I would be penalized. So I paid offer my loan, was suppose to send me my title, got lose somehow. Had to go to the title office to get a new one charge me $16.50 tha bank refused to give me my money back. Will not deal wit with them againAnd will let people know not to by word of mouth which get around like crazy. Not happy customer

I gave one star because you can't give zero. They are the worst $#&$ bank I have ever dealt with. Putting your money in their bank is like gambling. It might be there in the morning, it might not. They are predatory. Period. Get out.

This is just in general overall experience with peoples bank not this particular peoples bank but the online banking is the worst to deal with. Never works, always locks you out, just a pain to deal with.

I have been banking with Peoples for 14 years and I can honestly say that I have never had a problem with them. They don't make any money off me, yet they continue to treat me with courtesy and respect. As long as that continues, I will continue to do my banking here.

Absolute worst financial institution in the Marietta/Parkersburg Area.After multiple issues and dealing with constant disrespectful staff, I am finally done with this organization. There is absolutely zero consistency with this organization. You could talk to three different staff at different locations in the same day and get different answers results. They refuse to provide policy to their customers saying "they don't have to provide their internal policies to customers" do you want to let someone hold your money and then get no explanation when you ask something regarding your accounts funds? I don't anymore.Oh also, apparently if you get a paper paycheck weekly/biweekly, You go to this bank on Friday (payday) to cash your check for the weekend, they will not cash the check, apparently to Peoples bank this is too much of a liability without them verifying the check. So even if it is a business check from the company you work for, they refuse to accept that as available funds to the customer.If you want your money, don't trust this bank, You should get to decide when you get your money, At Peoples Bank, they think they get to decide when you get your money!

Absolutely terrible I will never do business with them again. Paid my loan in full and months later claim I still owe them money sent to collections and ruined my credit. Already have the title to my vehicle and was treated horrible by them.

I have been getting the run around for the past month to get my issue resolved, and as of yet, the only response I have gotten is: we can't help you. I was told send my paperwork to the main branch. Then I get: you have to go to the branch. The problem: I live 3.5 hours from the branch.

After purchasing Citizens Bank they automatically sign me up for paper statements then automatically deduct $2 for the statements. Customer service tells me they can't change the setting. Looks like I'm closing my account with Citizens!

This rinky dink bank is definitely a third rate operation pay your loan off 21 days later still no title give you a bunch of hoopla how they didn't know it was a payoff payment it was a regular loan payment and then back pedal is to the reason why you still haven't got your paperwork yet this place is definitely a third rate operation

I’ve been banking here for a couple years As I work out of town weeks to months at a time they shut my card off because it was compromised which I appreciate that but They cannot even call you and let you know they just mail you a new card so needless to say I’m 1500 miles away from home and they shut my card off call in to see what the problem was and that’s what they told me they offered to turn it on so I can get cash out of the ATM but that doesn’t help me when I’m gone from home for another week or two the lady on the other end of the line offered no help or solutions past that and was rude on the phone I think it’s time to search for another bank there is no need to be treated like that I realize I’m not some multi million dollar customer of theirs but I still deserve to be treated like a valued customer and obviously that has went right out the window

The worst! Can’t reach anyone for 2 days now to set up my loan to pay online. Very sad this day in age where everything is electronic. Left my number to be next in-line 2 days in a row and still nothing.
