Worst communication and service twice in one wk. Had to have someone there for propane delivery because, I accidentally ran completely out of propane , totally my fault, and i paid there $140 fine for letting it run out, thats fine i paid my due as this was negligence on my part. I work full time like every other adult, but they said they would txt/ call the night before delivery so I could have someone be there. Days later I get a txt that my propane was delivered. Cool. Get home and they put the propane in but unhooked it cause obviously no one was home because I got NO CALL OR TXT the night before. So now I call them and tell them this , after I go through three different people repeating the same info each time cause ya know none of them have the same computer screen up...i answer there 8 questions, my name, address, issue at hand, why did I let my propane run out, blood type, and my favorite kinda pop....15 min later I get done translating what they are saying as they are all foreign and their words roll together, i translate that they say they will send someone out AGAIN in another 3 days. After me telling Alejandro he turns it around on me saying we can avoid this next time if I don't let it run out LOL I paid my $140 for my MISTAKE, now them not calling me the night before is THEIR MISTAKE! Now I wait another couple days havnt heard from them so I call again. After I'm transfered 3 times to the right person, and complete their essay questions, and pat my head and rub my belly, Rosalinda from Honduras informs me yes your appt is tomorrow...I said so if I wouldn't have called to check you guys would have done this to me again!!?? Where is my phone call and my $140 back for your HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND NOW 3 DAYS TURNS INTO A WK LATER IN JANUARY. Definitely will be going with a new propane supplier that can communicate well and NO LAUNGUAGE BARRIERS.

Customer service from the deliver people is impeccable. They are respectful, pleasant, and communicate well. The company’s fees are astronomical and they had the highest cost propane in my area all winter. I had to purchase from them as I rent their tanks. Will be purchasing the tanks so I can shop around.

My in-laws were recently killed in a house fire, and we have been in the process of cancelling all of their utilities. Almost all have been gracious and apologetic except for AmeriGas. On our first call the person we spoke to was rude and offered no condolences. A few days later we noticed that they had created an order for a delivery despite there being nothing on the property but a burned out hole in the ground. When we called back, we spoke to a person who was in the process of canceling the order when the call dropped. When we called back we were connected with the original associate who said they would not cancel the order without a death certificate. This is literally the ONLY business we've dealt with that requires this. Plus, the order date they set was before we were going to receive the certificates. As my wife became more and more upset to the point of tears, the associate refused to transfer to a supervisor and eventually hung up. Absolutely vile behavior.

More expensive than any other propane company. I cancelled service and it’s been 6 months and they still haven’t come to pick up the tank. I would recommend this company to anyone.

22 year customer. I have never paid their tank rental fees, I would call and they would cancel it. Not this year! If I could buy more to cancel the rental fee I would! It only takes so much to heat our house. Time for a new propane supplier!

This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with any propane/oil company. This was not an easy feat to accomplish AmeriGas, so be proud of yourselves! When you call, they cannot help you. They used to transfer you but now don't even do that. I was told that she understood how I feel multiple times and as she is in Ohio and I am about to run out of propane (still have not come almost a week after the last date they gave me) and I am in Maine where it was -32 degrees last week - I highly doubt she can understand how I feel. Since changing to this company in August I have ONE good experience, even getting deliveries have been a nightmare. I give up! Changing today to Everett Propane. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I guess they have enough customers that as we leave it doesn't bother them. Good for them, most companies are not in the position to lost customer after customer - GO AMERIGAS! GO RIGHT ON OUT OF MY YARD AND HOUSE! If they had a 0 star rating I would give that!

I have tried to end services and have our tank removed for six months now! I call and call, and nothing happens, though I am told repeatedly, it will be taken care of.I am now being told that I owe almost $500 for ending services with late fees included; I have called about this three times and have been told to disregard it as it was an error. Now I am being told that it’s for closing the account, and no matter what I have been told in the past, the late fees stay. I would be more than willing to pay it if they would get the tank!!They will not let me talk to a manager; I’m told no one is available every time I call.This company is a joke! At this point, I have a tank for sale, will sell to the hugest offer!

Terrible. Last time I requested gas they said they over booked the date of my delivery (12 days after I requested gas) and then never rescheduled. Had to call to get them to bring me out gas when we got really low. This time 12 days after request I had to call to get and “emergency” delivery because of the cold spell. They said it would be delivered 25-48 hours. Called today for the 48 hours and they said we weren’t on the delivery. They’re closed on the weekends so maybe we would’ve gotten the delivery on Monday? By that time they would have been late on the 14 days to deliver. They were so helpful when I signed up a year ago but have been terrible since. Will not be ordering from them again.

We were promised a delivery on 2/17/21 today. I called and they said that we were on the schedule for tomorrow 2/18/21. I told the rep that we were told today and she said that it shows up as delivery by 2/19/21. My wife called to complain and was put on hold for 30 minutes. She asked for a supervisor and was told that "they're just going to tell you the same thing". We've been out of propane since 2/14/21.We had issues with them last year also but they make it impossible for us to get away from them!

I would give ZERO stars if I could. AmeriGas is the WORSE Propane Gas Company out there. We've been a customer with them for over 20 years, each year they get worse. I learned the hard way NOT to let them free fill and bill you years ago, so we placed our PREPAY order of 400 gallons on 12/3/20; they delivered 336.6 gallons. I told the delivery man to bring us the remaining 63.4 gallons, but it NEVER was. I tried to call, was on hold for over an hour never did get a HUMAN to answer the phone before they disconnected me. The website is horrible, and no there to even email AmeriGas about problems. I went into my account to order MORE propane, thinking I should have a 185.00 credit to find; they charged me a RENT TANK fee of 193.67, so now I owe them 14.65!! DO NOT USE this company; they are CROOKS!

Amerigas is the worst company ever , so glad we decided not to go with them however the previous owner of our house did. Now we are stuck with a their propane tank on our property. They keep scheduleling their pick you up date when it is too warm and it'll leave rats in our yard. Meanwhile the company we are with can't put their propane tank in the right location and it is sitting on a empty lot that's not owned by us!! I would never recommend amerigas to anyone.
