Good store. I got gift card there as a gift for my cousins wedding. Bit of a line up inside. Needed more cashiers. Not just one cashier.

Kyle went above and beyond to help my wife and I as our battery had died when we turned off to get gas. Nothing worse than being stuck out of country with a car issue.Thank you Kyle, you're the man!Thank you duchess!

This convenience store is right off the main ne of the main drags in Marion. They offer the typical convenience, store fare, including frozen foods, ice, cold sodas, water, snacks, candies, cookies, tobacco, cigarettes and fountain drinks. But the main attraction here is a walk-in freezer full of ice, cold beer. In addition, they have a huge counter of various types of coffee, pastries, desserts, and different flavors of iccees. The place is nice, clean, spacious and not crowded. It's in a very convenient location and the associated gas pumps are from the BP company. I would come here again on a stop when I need something from this place.

12/17/20Hardly anyone wears a mask but maybe a few workers. Yet their sign says wear a mask to keep our stores open. If they dont wear a mask then we shouldn't either. Will be calling Better Business and health department!

Stale sandwiches, sour hard boiled eggs, and pretty decent iced tea. Let's face it. Their coffee is pretty darn awful and often out. Doughnuts much worse than used to be. Still a nice clean store with lots of good food and gas is good. A little cleaning and attention to quality could put this place over the top but nonetheless its pretty great as is!

Okay well I've had more than a couple of bad experiences here. The first one was when I went to get gas here and my card wasn't working for some reason so I went inside to figure some way for me to purchase gas. As it turns out they are actually out of regular gas. No sign. No warning or anything. Then the woman behind the counter proceeded to not tell me the the price of the next grade so it could just save me the hastle of going 2 miles down. The next time I was frustrated here was when I came in to buy some water. The line was ridiculously slow. There were two people behind the counter but the one was just standing there watching the other struggle to get through the crazy line of people wanting to be helped. Just my luck when I go to pay. The card reader stops working and I can't even get my drinks. After this I figured it was just a bad luck thing for me here. Then I came to get gas again when it was my last resort knowing I didn't have enough to get to another. The card reader was once again acting off so I went in to pay. When I asked for a certain amount on my pump the woman claimed I was all set to go. But when I went out there nothing had been done. So I went back inside and asked if something was wrong or if I did something wrong. I was helped by another employee and it turns out the other employee did not even put the money on my pump. The second employee was very nice in helping me figure this out. Then when I went to go fill my car. Before I even touch the lever to pump the fuel. a flow of gas comes out and spills all over my car. I don't know what it is but this place is hell for me every time I come here. I have decided to not return. Thank you to the second employee that helped me.

I was just at Duchess on rt 95 1881 Marion- Mt gilead store on 8/8/20 at 2:25PM. There were two men behind the counter. One clerk had on a mask, and was wearing it correctly. The other African American had on a mask, but the mask did not cover his nose or mouth. What bothered me the most, was that I was supposed to get .20 change from my purchase. The clerk indicated that he did not have any nickles or dimes to provide appropriate change. I left the store, and went back in and watched . I saw some people giving him nickles and dimes, however the charade continued. Interesting way to steal from customers! A manager should watch this, and tell this clerk he is done.

I’m a regular customer and come to this particular location several times a week, and sometimes a few separate times a day. I also buy most of the lottery tickets I play here, and about 50% of the time pay for them with a credit card, which recently has become statewide through a change in policy. I still occasionally run into clerks at different stores who still aren’t aware that credit cards are now able for purchasing lottery. I had never had an issue at this store until last night. I had been in earlier and got a few tickets, one of which was a 20$ scratch off. I lost on it and went back to get another, with still no luck, and an hour or so later I got another l***** This is pretty standard for me, since 20$ tickets are 1:3.6 odds of winning, so I was fairly certain that the next one would be a winner. I go back and a different shift are there, so I ask for a 20$ ticket, get out my credit card, and then asked for ID which I assumed was for the lotto sale, and after showing it, she tells me I can’t use it because the first name on the card was my wife’s, even though obviously the last name was the same. I tell her I share the credit card with her, that I frequently use it there as well as other places, and had used it a few times earlier at that store. This is the first time I have ever even heard of this, and when I was telling her all of this, she is extremely rude and that it’s now “store policy,” which I then told her was absurd and that this must have been a very odd time for a change in policy, considering it was about 10 PM and used it there an hour earlier. This was ridiculous, offensive, and totally out of her authority. If someone does happen to use a card that ultimately is found to belong to someone else and a fraudulent purchase is made, it has no bearing on the store, the employee who carried out the transaction, and is a felony to be handled by the authorities. In a hypothetical situation in which the 20$ charge did have to be paid for by the store, they would lose the 20$ from the sale, as opposed to all of the years of future purchases I would otherwise make by way of continued business, which now they have in fact lost by implying that I’m some criminal, but a very reasonable criminal who had a stolen credit card, but only used it for a 20$ purchase. Never going back.
