As another person commented, the commercial loan process is extremely poor. Follow up was non existent. I also appealed to the president of the bank. I called him twice and sent (3) emails. I did not receive the courtesy of a response back from him. Although they eventually committed to the loan, it took nearly 6-months of chasing broken promises. In my opinion, even though they eventually provided the loan for our business, Fahey Bank was not honest and ethical in their approach. In our experience, this lender is not for the commercial borrower.

Having been a teller in the past and having banked with various large name banks I have to say Fahey is by far my favorite. I love that they are local. They are quick to help and answer any questions I may have. The girls at the branch on Marion Waldo Rd. are super sweet too.

Do NOT use this bank for a commercial loan. Their responsiveness is slow. I even appealed to the President of the bank because it was so frustrating and was passed off to someone else who only followed up once. Their underwriting department has unusually stringent standards and has requested more documentation on at least 12 occasions, to the point of ridiculousness. The communication has been so poor that many of these requests have been last-minute "by the way" types of requests, which has left me, realtors, a title company and insurance agents scrambling to try to meet their demands.
