Someone breached security so they froze my card and it was timely to get a new card however they closed my account right when I was getting a deposit from my employer and I lost 252.53 without notifying me. It might not seem like a lot of money but it sure as hell could've helped me out being it was my final pay check. But I learned a valuable lesson...

After my experience with this Marion, OH branch, I'm going to be closing all of my accounts with 5/3 bank. Although small, the facility is well maintained with a substantial employee base on hand to deal with almost anything. Walking in the door, I was greeted by one of the three tellers, so I reciprocated the gesture and got in line. Unfortunately, that's where the positivity ended for this transaction. After being verbally ignored by a shorter elderly lady as she stared through my eyes into my soul, the woman beside her said she could help me. I politely asked if I could withdraw some cash from my accounts and was immediately told it wasn't possible. After some healthy rhetoric and my refusal to accept that answer, she finally said to give her a minute. After playing 20 questions for a while about things like why you need the money, are you married, why can't you use digital funds, etc. she decided to look at all accounts in their system I am authorized on just to investigate where I got the money from. As we went through my deposits one by one, she wanted me to explain where the money came from for the deposits. She even went as far as getting into my wife's account that I don't have access to so she could go through her deposits and withdraw history. Finally, she told me she had to talk to the manager for approval and to have a seat she would be right back. After about 37 min she came back and apologized for the duration of my wait and said everything was finally approved so she started finalizing everything. She asked the older lady if she could use the bill counter but the old lady had been on her lunch break eating at the teller dest the entire time and she didn't want to move. After being asked to move a couple times the old lady said "hurry up I was getting ready to log back in because I have stuff to do." which left me dumbfounded. I was overall able to get the funds I wanted and it only took about an hour but as a repercussion of this experience I will NOT be doing any further business with 5/3 Bank, affiliates, or partners in the future effectivly ending my 20yrs of business with the company.

Terrible trash bank. Outdated slow and incompetent . Would never recommend to anyone totally regret banking with them.

Jane is a darling. Everybody there are pleasent and helpful. If you've got a problem they go out of there way and help you. I had a lady call me back with a problem I had after she said she can't help. Well she did and got a hold of me to tell me. That was nice of her.

The older short lady at the front desk needs to be a little more polite to customers when they come in. Like do you not like your job? Or is it people of color coming in with money able to spend and pay bills? I'm disgusted right now.

Ive never had a problem with anyone at this bank everyone is so polite but whoever the heavy set old lady with the short gray hair she is very rude when i asked her questions regarding ny account. Then when i wanted to make a deposit she said give me your money so i can deposit it. Rude rude and more rude. She should be fired for being mouthy to a customer with questions

The employees were very friendly. My issue is that I suffer from migraines. When I walked up to the bank the "air freshener" was so strong I was immediately nauseated. My husband got everything in order while I waited outside so that all I had to do was sign the documentation. When my husband got into the car the smell had permiated his clothing. If you have fragrance sensitivities this is not the place for you. Thankfully they have an ATM.

I have had my account with this bank for several years. All banks have fees of some sort. If you get over drafts the over drafts are very obviously the account holders fault. I use online banking and have never had a problem unless it's been an error on my part. The customer service is top of the line; everyone knows me by name and even if they are having a bad day they don't lash out or take it out on the customers they still greet you with a smile and treat you with dignity and respect. The same goes for those of us who occasionally enter the bank in our pajamas; customers may make awkward faces but the staff often compliments on how comfy they look. The staff and management couldn't get any better! I've dealt with other local banks and know how other banks rob and steal their customers blind. This bank is not like the others. I strongly recommend 5/3 Bank to friends and family.

I have seen some negative reviews and I just want to say a few things. All banks are going to charge some sort of fee, regardless of what happens. I have had Fifth Third Bank for almost 2 years now and I have never had any issues with them. The customer service is friendly and even in the branch locations they are friendly. I unfortunately will be moving to a state that does not have Fifth Third so I will have to transfer my money to a different bank, but if I didn't have to I wouldn't. Any time I needed anything they were more than willing to help me and I could always get someone on the phone. I think the longest wait time I have ever had is 2 minutes. So I would suggest that if you are looking for a bank that will be willing to work with you and give you a chance I highly suggest Fifth Third bank.
