Avoid Lowe's installation at all costs. It was by far the worst experience I've had on any project ever! It all started on day one, and ranged from customer service to communication, logistics, and installation. It seemed like I was there first project ever, it took 9 months to complete. They had to install my fence twice, and in the process accidentally tore my neighbors fence down. My fence still isn't installed properly.

I have purchased several items from this Marion Lowes because it is my neighborhood Lowes. Every time I order something to be picked up it takes so much longer then it should have to locate it and pick it up. Tonight I went to pick up yard pavers that it took them 30 minutes to "find" and they are struggling to get someone to bring them to my vehicle and them after all this time they bring the wrong pavers. Wrong sku number, size, color & weight. I get that is hard to find good help but this is ridiculous on so many levels

It's a toss up between this store and Mansfield. I had expressed interest in a Generac. I needed an estimate and I guess Marion was assigned. I was to be contacted within a couple of days. NOPE. I waited about 10 to 14 days and then submitted a second request. Luckily this time Casey was assigned our request. We made the appointment, Casey was on time and gave us much needed information and his recommendation. My neighbor, who has a similarly sized house, was recommended a 14. We were recommended either 18 or 22. Why the difference? Casey felt our neighbor could run essential things but certainly not air conditioning. Our neighbor spent over $10,000 at Marion Lowes. We went for the larger generator at just under $8,722 all in. Our neighbor had to wait a while and then the installers determined his unit was defective and they had to wait even more weeks. Ours came in reasonably soon and here is where I have a problem with Lowes. We got a notice saying it was being delivered so we cancelled our plans. No generator. Lowes customer service was useless. Hey, I am not hanging around the house for a delivery that isn't coming. Eventually WE put 2 and 2 together. Seems protocol with the company Lowes chose for our installation, CRT, requests the generator be delivered to them first. CRT checks it out and then CRT schedules delivery. No problems with CRT. As a matter of fact, I would either buy directly from them or go the Costco route and have CRT do the installation. Why couldn't anyone at Lowes clue us in. No one there had a clue. We were not even told the name of the installing company. Good deceive work led us to CRT by process of elimination. CRT has terrific communication. We were told to expect an email to rate the process. Nope. So consider this my rating and the only reason I gave them a 2 was because their estimater was competent. Otherwise, I give them a negative 2.

(1 star because no stars is not an option. )In May we purchased almost $20k worth of windows and fence to be installed by Lowe's Marion. Long story short I stayed at home waiting for 2 days for windows that didn't get delivered (no call/no show). When they finally we're delivered,the installer backed into my garage door and the windows do not work correctly. It's been 3 weeks with multiple calls and store visits and my garage door still isn't fixed. When the installers came to install the fence they did not have enough material. Had to wait several more weeks for the material to come in. Installers wouldn't schedule to come finish the job until 3 weeks later. They no called no showed on the day they were supposed to finish the install. This is the short version mind you. I have spent hours and hours of my life on the phone trying to get this straightened out. I've made multiple trips in to the store and attempted to speak with Liz, the store manager, and have been denied that opportunity. I've been repeatedly given more and more phone numbers to call where I received more and more empty promises. Do not use Lowe's in Marion if your life depends on it. They would just kill you with their incompetence anyway.

If I could give a zero I would. Loved Lowe's for years but Marion store is an absolute mess. Understaffed, undertrained, and generally a terrible experience. Placed Online order for appliances that arrived to store in waves. 3rd curbside pick using the online tool and 30 minutes later, still waiting. PLEASE INTERVENE, if this is the Lowe's model, might as well go to menards for no service and better prices

I love lowes everybody is so helpful and when I order a washer it was delivered and hooked up and the old one hauled away I always buy my appliances at lowes would not shop anywhere eles I give them a 10 thank you lowes for your great customer service

Well I have given Lowes another chance at carpet installation and yet again they failed epically. Do not go here for any flooring installation as their process is broken. I tried to call six times and was hung up on twice. They don't care about trying to fix the situation they just welcomed the cancellation. If you are not aware, Home Depot is now offering military discount. You just have to register for it. This is my last time I will ever purchase from Lowe's. Apparently there is a reason that Home Depot's stock price is higher, they have better service. Lowes states the carpet should be delivered 7-10 days and yet it wasn't delivered to installers after 3 weeks. Lowes stated it was delivered and when I called their installers they stated it was not and Lowe's computers will automatically receipt the carpeting after so many days. That's where their process is broken.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I ordered a dishwasher on a Black Friday special on their website. The dishwasher was to come from this store. The delivery company came and said they do not do installs. Since when? I have ordered fro Lowe's before and they always installed for me. They dropped it in the garage and left. I called the store and basically they told me "yeah, the delivery people are awful, but what are you going to do?" I asked for the manager to call me, but she never did. I called back to the store and they told me the manager was "busy" and couldn't talk to me. Another person in appliances referred me to an 888 number for appliance installed through Lowe's which would cost around $250. I called the number he gave me which was Lowe's installation for water heaters! She was very rude and unable to even give me a number to call. Now I have a brand new dishwasher sitting in my garage. Do yourself a favor and go to Big Sandy. My neighbor did and had no issues.

Went to lowes to buy a zero turn mower on April 20, 2022, paid $3,500 for what I thought was a craftsman mower, well they delivered it a week later , with no gas , that's ok I understand that, but, when I got it started run ok then it started acting up , engine would try to die out when idle was turned down, mower deck was not level, so I'm thinking I have to call craftsman, so called them and made a appointment which took 4 days, guy from craftsman came on may 5, 2022 and said they don't work on there mowers it's really a md mower not craftsman they use there name, he showed me under the seat where it stated that. Well I'm upset now because I was mislead, I thought I bought a craftsman, well went to service department and talked to someone that said he was a manager, after a not so good conversation ,he gave me a phone number to lowes repair department, keep in mind ,I paid almost $300 extra for extra 3 years warranty, so after 4 attempts to reach someone, they said that I had to call craftsman, I tried to explain to them, I bought the extra warranty, and I bought at lowes ,and I had already had them to my home, I found out that the craftsman, and John deer mowers ,are made by md that they are just using there names, beware, your not getting the name brand mowers, I was told this. So I'm going to have them pick up there mower , I paid for 3 yrs warranty, and if I half to go through this every time, I have a problem , I don't want it. Please no this is not intended to make the employees look bad, it's not there fault, but they would not mislead customers as they are doing.

Only giving 3 because it's a store issue. If something isn't in stock, that should also mean the floor model also should not be there taking up space, sell it. Make room for new inventory sell it and you won't be asked 1000 damn times to order it. Service was prompt and helpful but also rude, thanks for working with me, but I'm also not one of your buddys having drinks. Probably only deserve 2 but hey I'm feeling generous.

Pretty much every Lowe's sucks right now and no surprise they are going bankrupt. It's a roller coaster of customer service because of management's lack of holding their employees accountable. Furthermore, we blame corporate for their lack of beta testing prior to implementing their new online ordering system along with policy. Its a joke. I'd rather order from Amazon, Menards or buy from the local Napa or Hardware Exchange.
