Avoid Lowe's installation at all costs. It was by far the worst experience I've had on any project ever! It all started on day one, and ranged from customer service to communication, logistics, and installation. It seemed like I was there first project ever, it took 9 months to complete. They had to install my fence twice, and in the process accidentally tore my neighbors fence down. My fence still isn't installed properly.

My home away from home! We bouggt a 100 year old house 8 years ago and have gone here for all our home improvement needs. We have more work to do on this old house, so we will definetly be returning. Their carpet installation crew is amazing and did a fantastic job as well! The photos below are of the carpet/ paint we bought at lowes to improve our home.

When I’m trying to locate items for my shopping cart it saves so much time with the help of your team members. Most recent visit in the paint department, I’ll give a shout out to Lori for her assistance in selection, location , and direction. She kept me from wandering aimlessly. ?

I have purchased several items from this Marion Lowes because it is my neighborhood Lowes. Every time I order something to be picked up it takes so much longer then it should have to locate it and pick it up. Tonight I went to pick up yard pavers that it took them 30 minutes to "find" and they are struggling to get someone to bring them to my vehicle and them after all this time they bring the wrong pavers. Wrong sku number, size, color & weight. I get that is hard to find good help but this is ridiculous on so many levels

It's a toss up between this store and Mansfield. I had expressed interest in a Generac. I needed an estimate and I guess Marion was assigned. I was to be contacted within a couple of days. NOPE. I waited about 10 to 14 days and then submitted a second request. Luckily this time Casey was assigned our request. We made the appointment, Casey was on time and gave us much needed information and his recommendation. My neighbor, who has a similarly sized house, was recommended a 14. We were recommended either 18 or 22. Why the difference? Casey felt our neighbor could run essential things but certainly not air conditioning. Our neighbor spent over $10,000 at Marion Lowes. We went for the larger generator at just under $8,722 all in. Our neighbor had to wait a while and then the installers determined his unit was defective and they had to wait even more weeks. Ours came in reasonably soon and here is where I have a problem with Lowes. We got a notice saying it was being delivered so we cancelled our plans. No generator. Lowes customer service was useless. Hey, I am not hanging around the house for a delivery that isn't coming. Eventually WE put 2 and 2 together. Seems protocol with the company Lowes chose for our installation, CRT, requests the generator be delivered to them first. CRT checks it out and then CRT schedules delivery. No problems with CRT. As a matter of fact, I would either buy directly from them or go the Costco route and have CRT do the installation. Why couldn't anyone at Lowes clue us in. No one there had a clue. We were not even told the name of the installing company. Good deceive work led us to CRT by process of elimination. CRT has terrific communication. We were told to expect an email to rate the process. Nope. So consider this my rating and the only reason I gave them a 2 was because their estimater was competent. Otherwise, I give them a negative 2.

Shout out to the flooring department! Specifically Cort, Amber, Dillon and Coby. Impressively helpful, knowledgeable, patience, and kind. #1 reason I would use Lowes flooring department again. Thank you!!

1 star because 0 is not an option. In May we purchased almost $20k worth of windows and fence to be installed by Lowe’s Marion. Long story short I stayed at home waiting for 2 days for windows that didn’t get delivered. No call no show. When they finally did get delivered, the installer backed into my garage door and the windows do not work correctly. When the installers came to install the fence they did not have enough material. Had to wait several more weeks for the material to come in. Installers wouldn’t schedule to come finish the job until 3 weeks later. They no called no showed on the day they were to finish the install. This is the short version mind you. I have spent hours and hours of my life on the phone trying to get this straightened out. I’ve made multiple trips in to the store and attempted to speak with Liz, the store manager, and have been denied that opportunity. I’ve been repeatedly given more and more phone numbers to call where I received more and more empty promises. Do not use Lowe’s in Marion if your life depends on it. They would just kill you with their incompetence anyway.

I found affordable prices on appliances, I was assisted by one of the stores associate . He was informative by answering my questions and checked my purchase out in a timely manner.

It took over an hour to get two gallons of paint and there were 4 people helping, we could have gotten twice the amount in have the time at Menards (this store is not bill approved)

45 minutes for online order pickup. The special order screws are small and should have been held up front. Customer service couldn’t find them, called receiving who apparently answers to no one and didn’t answer multiple calls from customer service. Avoid this place and avoid their pickup. Tammy was not helpful at all but Jaxson went above and beyond, walked to the back and found the product.

Worst service from store management. The manager Tasha, the assistant manager Mason, and a few others have lied to my husband and me. We had called customer service and was told here what Lowes policy is and to just go into the store and give them your name and phone number. We did. They said they had the right to refuse what customer service said and it was their store's policy to do so. We were told that we could only buy another drill by Kobalt with our store credit, which was a lie that they all told us at this store. We asked for district manager's name. Mason refused to give us DM name and said we would only be able to call customer service. So, instead, we went to the store down on Polaris, which treated us with respect and helped us out. We won't go back to the Marion Lowes store, and can't recommend this store to anyone. We are hoping to speak to a regional manager.

Not very friendly. Had an issue with my Kobalt drill. Brought it back. Kobalt has a no hassle return in store. Customer service told me to call Kobalt to get a return authorization first. Huh? So I called. Got store credit. Bought another Kobalt drill, but a different model since they didn't have mine in stock here at this store. Got home and found that if I would have bought it online that I would have gotten a free battery. Went to store. They wouldn't honor online deals in store and manager wasn't friendly about it. As a veteran, I won't buy from this Lowes again.

I waited for the paint folks to mix my paint. The returns desk called for help for 15 minutes. When no one came, they told me the paint mixer would not be in until 7:30. I would have to wait another 30 minutes and I should shop until help comes. What an awful service policy.
