About Wyandot Popcorn Museum
The Wyandot Popcorn Museum is a unique and impressive attraction located under a colorful circus tent. It features the most extensive collection of popcorn wagons and peanut roasters in the United States, with many dating back to the early 1900s. These antique wagons have been carefully restored to their original condition, making it the only Popcorn Museum globally and home to the largest collection of restored popcorn antiques. Visitors also enjoy a variety of other exhibits, including well-noted sections on historical subjects such as President Harding, the Marion Fair, WWII, telephones, and the underground railroad. The museum offers a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, with knowledgeable staff guiding visitors through the displays. Admission is affordable, typically around $6 to $8, and visitors often receive a box of fresh popcorn as a treat. The museum is part of the Marion County History Museum and can be explored in about an hour, though some visitors choose to spend extra time to enjoy all the exhibits. Overall, it is a charming and educational destination for those interested in history and popcorn.

Bonus: there is a telephone museum as well! I love that there are very knowledgeable guides there who share very fascinating stories. Even if you just take a look around, who doesn't want to support a museum?

A delightful collection of popcorn machines but that’s only one room. There is a lot to see there

Nice museum with a variety of things, the popcorn museum is part of the Marion County History Museum. Took about an hour to go through, the popcorn machines are in mint condition and you get a box of fresh popcorn when leaving so you make a mess in your car not in the museum.
