“I had the pleasure of shopping the Dollar General Store in Martin's Ferry, Ohio this morning while I was on my way to St. Clairsville to pick up some groceries at Kroger. Tim greeted me as I entered and offered assistance. He smiled and made great eye contact. Tim checked me out at the register and made friendly conversation about the area. He was personable, considerate, and professional. I found everything I was looking for and the store was neat and organized. I would recommend Tim and this location to family and friends. Thank you, Dollar General for having a kind, personable employee like Tim. :)”

“Organized, Friendly Staff. Aisles are confusing but Once you go enough, You'll be fine. Nothing is thrown around in areas where they don't belong, In the case they are.. I have literally been in an Aisle shopping , And the Manager was going through those items And 1 by 1 put them where they belong on the racks. She was Taking Pride in her Job! That's 90% the way these Employees Are!”

I actually went in today around 1230ish. There was a blonde haired lady working (didn't catch her name) but she was suppppperrr friendly,bc of her I will keep coming back!”
“This place has really turned around had an older woman working there a while ago she was really grumpy now that the younger females work there and the two other guys they all really try to keep the store clean and put together and they are very polite and forthcoming to help you with anything that you need help with keep up the good work”
“The associates that work at the dollar store and Benwood and McMackin are very friendly and helpful. The only issue I have is the shelves are a mess and the aisles always have stuff laying on the floor as if it just got raided and it makes it difficult to maneuver carts through the aisles.”
“Basically live my life here. I come here a lot of the time, because I live near by. All the workers here are amazing and sweet. They have a variety of items ranging from gaming keyboards to frozen pizzas. The Family dollar itself is near a gas station, school and grocery store its got some companion. To sum up everything said so far this Family dollar is a great place to get anything for a amazing price.”

“I had the pleasure of shopping at the Dollar General Store in St. Clairsville, Ohio, yesterday morning, and Judy greeted me with a smile, welcomed me, and offered assistance. I was unfamiliar with the store layout and required her help several times. Judy was stocking shelves when I arrived and helping other customers, but she was glad to help me, too. Her store was nicely stocked, clean, and well-maintained. I found three items, and Judy helped me with the rest. As I entered the checkout area, I noticed "store manager" embroidered on Judy's shirt. She asked how my day was going and if I needed anything else. Judy ensured I received the Saturday $5 off $25 Discount, smiled, thanked me, and gave me the receipt. She also wished me a good day and hoped to see me again soon. I appreciated Judy's professional mannerism and warm, friendly, welcoming attitude. I recommend Judy and the St. Clairsville Dollar General location to family and friends.”

Me and my better half are both handicapped and we was in the store last night Jan 8th we got to the car and couldn't find the our keys ... it was almost closing time but they was so nice to us ..my niece came and got us and took us home ... today my sister found our keys in the car but the employees was looking for them... “I had not been in this location before. They have friendly, helpful staff. Shelves were either well stocked or being restocked. Even with customers wandering the aisles, the store was kept clean. A true gem for the company.”

“New management at the elm grove location has turned this store around… still have a lot to do to fix the mess she took over but now things are cleaned and organized on the shelves and you can find what you need and walk the isles… they’re opened when they are supposed to be also… So give them another try!!”

“Super convenient placement. Don't have to go all the way into Saint Clairsville or Bellaire for just a few things. Store aisles tend to be crowded with freight a lot but other than that, no complaints. Staff is always friendly.”
“I'm not sure what happened, but the store looks and operates so much better. Since it's the only store for miles it means so much to see inventory stocked, and coupons advertised. Prior to the last few months neither happened.If managers changed I can absolutely see a difference! Good job!”
