I went in with my wife on 7/22/24 around 7:00 PM to trade in some games and an Xbox. The cashier, Michael, was incredibly rude and made mocking comments about the lack of cases for the games, essentially calling me careless. His explanation as to why I couldn’t trade my Xbox left me incredibly confused, all he would tell me is I needed the HDMI cord and controller and since I didn’t have either, he tried to sell me a $50 dollar controller which would have negated the entire trade sale. He didn’t properly explain WHY I needed these, especially the HDMI cord as my Xbox did not come with one stock.

This used to be one of the worst gamestops out there. Ever since they added Bradley Brown to their store the service has been outstanding! His work ethic is unmatched, he comes in to work every day with a smile on his face and is such a joy to be around! Marysville got a good one :)

I have never heard of a return policy that was 14 days unless it was for electronics. The typical return window is 30-90 days in this world. But no at GameStop all merchandise, that is not electronic is 14 days as well. So what ends up happening is if you are buying someone a gift you will have to wait until the last minute to buy it because if not and you buy someone a gift a week early before their birthday and you take it home and a few days goes by then you wrap it and then a few days go by and you have the party and they unwrap it and don't like it or already have the item, like in my case, well that is too bad your stuck with it. Crazy I tell you, just crazy. I know now how they are making all their money, by not helping out the customer.

Store is absolutely dirty and disgusting looks like it has not been cleaned in a year . Trash all over the floor . Different products laying all over the place . And this is just walking into the store when it first opens for the day to. Empty card board boxes all over floor. Back counter always trashed. Staff would rather be playing on thier phone then actually helping customers or doing any work to actually clean the store. What a once great place to shop in Marysville has turned to a place dirtier then most Walmarts

This is a nice GameStop but they need a little help with customer service. We have been in two times now. Nobody acknowledges you or says anything while you’re there. My son bought a game and the guy didn’t even say a word while we were at the counter and didn’t give him his change back (5 cents). Very weird.

This place has gone downhill in a hurry. All of the decent employees are quitting left and right due to poor wages no support from upper management, according to them. My experience tonight with one of the new team members was terrible.I walked in after watching one customer making a purchase. Another customer started arguing with the team member about pre-ordered stickers or something. After I figured out what I wanted to purchase, I was asked whether or not I had a pre order to pick up. When I answered no, the team member told me to get out, because the store had been closed for fifteen minutes. Like, okay? Could have told me that as I meandered around your store waiting to pay for my things. Very rude.Anyway, don't support GameStop. You can buy literally any game from some other soulless company like Walmart or Amazon. Can't wait until these bozos go bankrupt for good. Rest in pepperonis you goons.

Bought a controller, asked if the suspcription she just signed me up for was on auto renewal, told me no. Walked out, emailed "Thanks for signing up for auto renewal"
