Inaccurate website took over 2 weeks to receive my order, had to order somewhere else and pay expedited shipping needed it within the 3 days the websites said. tried calling a dozen times just got a voice-mailFinally got through to someone and couldn't cancel the order but was ok to send back at my expense and lose 25% restocking fee for a box that was never open

I ordered a large lift item from Amica on 28 July, 2022. The lady who readily took my order and billed my credit card immediately for over 3K+ told me the lift would ship in 7-10 days. In spite of multiple phone calls over 2weeks following the expected 10 day delay to the office leaving a message for call back each time I got the recorded message saying they would call back but they didn't. Finally at the end of the 1st month I sent an email and copied my lawyer there still was no answer to my phone calls or my email. Finally 2 months later when my lawyer finally talked to a live individual they tried to tell us they thought it was a fraudulent claim, in spite of the fact that they had had my money from the credit card supplier for over 2 months and no attempt to contact me or verify if I was real or not. They had the money. This makes no sense and I lost all confidence. I would say be very wary of ordering a large item unless you can walk into their office. Then buyer beware! I will report to BBB. jr

DO NOT PURCHASE from this company. I purchased a sling for my Mom with ALS. As soon as I opened it, I knew it was going to be too big. The description of sizing is very vague on the website. I asked to exchange it for another size. They told me no, due to covid, the FDA won't allow them to accept them back. This is BS as I've purchased from other companies, during covid & was able to return them.

I ordered a replacement part for a patient lift. The enclosed order form came with no return instructions. I called the original web site that directed me to this supplier, Invacare.com. I was given the phone number to Patient Lift USA, LLC. the first time I called on January 20, 2021 the phone directory led me to voice mail, I left a message requesting instructions to make a return, the person that I required this part for, my Father had passed away the day before. I did not receive a return call. I called again on 01-27-2021 and the phone was answered by a cranky women who claimed to be the owner. This women would not let me talk to explain the situation, she cut me off numerous times. Her only concern was that the delivery has been made more than 30 days ago!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE AND WITHOUT ANY SYMPATHY OR HUMANITY!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, EVER!!!!!

Wish I had read the reviews about the horrible customer service before purchasing. Delivery was extremely slow and zero communication through email or phone to say my order was delayed. I left 3 messages to return my call and there was no info regarding tracking via email until AFTER my order was received. I no longer need the items because I purchased the same items from another company (and received them in 2 days ) and now Amica won’t refund or allow me to return the unopened packages.

Bought a Full Electric Hi-Lo bed for my mother, with the "white glove" installation. Competitive pricing, but lousy service, right from the beginning. Had to call after a week for find out when the delivery might happen - took almost two more weeks for the bed to show up. And this is a medical bed, so it was really needed - a better estimate of how long this was going to take probably would have lead me to purchase from a local store. Delivery crew delivered unpacked the boxes, but never assembled the bed, which was supposed to be included. My mother needed the bed, so I assembled it (we moved out the old one!), mainly because Amica Medical was so slow in figuring out what happened. Eventually they offered $75 back on the $600 white glove expense, and never really explained why the delivery crew was told not to assemble the bed. Frankly, they seemed to treat this as if I was asking for something unexpected, and I was left feeling ripped off. So stay away from the white glove...
