Crunch Fitness in Mason is a great fitness facility to work out at. I went in as a guest and the associate working there was super nice and friendly. She helped me register and made me feel comfortable since I was unfamiliar with this facility. There are many different machines to use for training and free weights as well. I highly recommend this location for a good workout.

Good gym overall. The only thing that would make it better is if it didn’t close so early on the weekend. Used to be a 24 hour gym which was great, but that changed with covid and they never went back. Then they started closing early on the weekend. Would be great if Crunch could at least stay open to 11:30pm or Midnight each day. I have considered switching to planet fitness which is 24 hours but Crunch is good besides the hours.

This gym is a bottom tier gym. Dated equipment and broken equipment. Lack of equipment having limited squat racks, benches and incline benches made worse if a lazy powerlifter decides to nap on one for a few hours. Not to mention half the gym gets shut down for a class at peak hours. Only good thing are the front desk employees with the exception of Nick. Avoid this gym if you can afford other gyms. Counting down the days until I can cancel my membership!!!

Love the Demolished group fitness class. Sidori is a fantastic trainer, she insures a good workout and makes it fun! She always ends with a cool down too which is so important.

The workout area is amazing. However, the men’s restroom is disgusting. Toilets, sinks, and showers are not clean. Smell of urine hits your nose immediately upon standing in front of the toilet. Sinks are covered in dirt and hair.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I train with Gideon and he's an amazing trainer. He customizes the workout according to your needs putting in mind any limitations or health issues. He's very patient, encouraging, accommodating and inspiring. I like that he motivates you to set your goals then help you to achieve it with a strict schedule. He advocates for healthy diet by constantly educating you. I highly recommend him.

The gym overall is ok, until you need something from the Manager Nick. Expect NO help at all from the manager in this place. No emails response, no calls or text reply. The rest of the staff are really great

Dated equipment, a limited offering of archaic equipment. There's something always broken, whether it be a bench or cable machine. Which you have to ask yourself, "where does that maintenance fee go"? They have circuit training classes during the peak hours of operation that take up literally half the gym. But since it's the only gym that offers childcare, I'm stuck with these horrible gym practices. If you go to other crunch locations out of state that are owned and operated by different personnel, most of these problems don't exist. So one can only postulate it is the owner. Music is terrible too. It's not an upbeat, uplifting, energized place. Instead, it's got more of mortuary or funeral home vibe to it. But I'm locked in for about 4,5 more years until I can leave my son on his own. Kids grow up fast. However, in this case he can't grow up fast enough.

I am not a big fan of crunch, but I go there because of Gideon, my PT.I used to have severe back pain. He helped me a lot by teaching some exercises and making my back a lot stronger than before. Also, if any of you are trying to get some quick results, he is the guy. He will teach you so many exercises that you could do when you are at work or doing some other activities in your day to day life.

Trainer: Gideon is an awesome trainer, he has knows a lot about working out, he also knows a lot about the muscle groups and how to train them. He's patient and a very encouraging! This is what I look for in trainer, if that's what you're looking for, then I'd recommend Gideon.GYM: For the most part, the gym is nice, the staff are friendly and helpful. Good environment, able to work out in peace. The only room for improvement I can see is that the gym needs a space or a room designated for stretching/warm up exercises. Its hard to do this some days as it gets crowded when I show up, especially when they have a class and they end up closing portions of space in the gym for it.

I have trained with Gideon since April, 2021. He is very knowledgeable. He doesn’t just tell me what exercise to do, but he explains what muscles we are working on, what they do, the benefits of strengthening them, and proper technique to safely exercise them. He makes me want to exercise, and enjoy it at the same time. Training with him gave me the accountability I needed. I look forward to our sessions. The money I have spent training with him has been well spent. I am 65, and my health has improved tremendously while training with him! He is an asset to the Mason location.

I’ve been going to Crunch in Mason for several years and am happy with the gym. But I train with Gideon and he is the reason I continue my membership. Gideon is very knowledgeable. He challenges me, changes up my workouts and also explains the effect of the exercise. Plus, he’s a nice person!

I ve been going to Crunch Fitness since past 5 years. It's my favorite gym. All the staff is really nice and friendly. Very humble monthly fees too. I have my PT. His name is Gideon. He's the most amazing trainer one can ask for. He takes enough time in understanding the needs of his client. Has a ton of knowledge on the exercises and how each affects the body positively. He even takes special attention on the diet and keeps checking if the diet is good or no and gives suggestions of a variety of healthy options. Guides through how the exercise need to be done so it's beneficial for the future and also in daily life. Puts in extra time if possible. He's really nice and I ve never been this happier and satisfied with personal training before. I must say he's a rare find in this commercial world. And I m glad I did.

I ended my membership and stopped going to Crunch about 3 years ago and I just recently found out that they were still charging my wife’s credit card. I called their 3 rd party billing company (ABC Fitness) and they said that they would make sure that it was ended correctly after I asked to speak to a manager. The manager (Renzkristofer Mercado) assured me that he would take care of everything for me and then I find out that it still isn’t ended and I’m still being charged. This is outrageous and really concerning that a company would steal money from unknowing customers after they cancel and then still try to collect payment after I’ve told you all that it was supposed to cancelled years ago. I will be reporting this incident to the better business bureau and reporting the company to all of the credit reporting agencies.
