Worst bank ever. They’ll ruin your credit score and still charge you for late payments that they promise you that they’ll take care. Bunch of people that don’t know what they’re doing. I switched to PNC bank and they’re very reliable and will actually help you. Only bank here if you want to ruin your credit score and that’s my best advice.

When visiting this Branch it felt oddly peculiar that I was the only patron whose ID was scanned to make a withdrawal. It was painstakingly obvious that I was being discriminated against. Each time I’ve visited this location, the teller takes an extended time reviewing my account before executing my transaction. In other words the people before me get in and out when they get to me there’s a delay in the length of time it takes them to authenticate me or validate my account. It’s very weird and extremely blatant.

Went to this branch to report a clear unauthorized transaction on our checking account. Well, it was about a garnishment/tax levy transfer which had absolutely nothing to do with us. I told Amanda the transaction was either fraudulent or mistake made by 53 bank, anyway, it had nothing to do with us. Surprisingly 53 bank does not allow customers to file a charge dispute if they believe it is "legitimate." And that is apparently wrong. Customers should have the right to file charge dispute against any unauthorized charges/transfers in the first place. Then the following internal investigation of the bank will decide if it is fraud or mistake or something else.Poor process management/policy for 53 bank. 10 minutes later, I was told that "the transfer was a mistake (made by 53 bank), and it was fixed, I am done." No apology, no professionalism. Avoid this place.Added comments: As a 5/3 "preferred customer", I also filed a formal complaint to the bank. But so far nobody seems to care about this. To resolve the mistake they made, our family members went to four different 5/3 bank branches for five times. They initially did not even correct the overdrafting fine of $37 on us. To be fair, the Kroger store 5/3 employees are the best, and the bankers in the branches are the worst.

Love this branch!! The workers are incredibly friendly and can help you with everything you need. I have never had a problem using their services and have been banking with them since I moved to Ohio 8 years ago. Convenient location on Main Street in downtown Mason. Interior is lovely and there is an ATM in the drive thru area. Highly recommend coming here for your banking!

I must say, I have really come to hate banks. Every time I go into a bank for obviously simple reasons they have a new 'rule' they have to follow. They want to nickel and dime you till your dead. It's really a shame what has become of the massively regulated banking industry.

I've come here as a kid a bunch and the floors echo when you walk on them. Also the vault in the back is open which is cool, and they always had smiley tellers who gave you candy whether you're 6 or 18.

Val Robinson really takes care of you with mortgages but 53 banks in general have rolled out a bunch of new accounts designed to fee the crap out of you id skip the bank all together but might be worth talking to her about mortgages if your out pricing one around
