Greg Storer is a truly passionate artist whose enthusiasm is contagious. His ability to open up the world of art to students of any age or skill level is nothing short of inspiring. With his patient and kind approach, he brings humor into the learning process, creating a joyful experience. Greg’s classes foster an incredible community that is not only welcoming to all but encourages individual growth and creativity. Taking his art class was an enriching experience that I would recommend to anyone seeking to explore their artistic side.

I know Greg Storer Art from Google Maps and learned that there is a treasure teacher here. My child likes painting very much and is not bad. After 6 lessons, I decisively added another three-month course. After class I found that my children were able to grasp the painting skills taught by the teacher and use it very well, although it took me 40 minutes to drive to the class but it was worth it! Because there is a professional teacher here who will bring my children closer to their dreams! come on! Thank you Greg Storer Art!

My son has been going to Greg Storer Art Studio for 6 years. Greg’s guidance and expertise on colors, shadowing and light is second to none. Greg’s studio is a relaxing place to be creative. As my son got older he also leveraged it to work on school art project like Advanced Placement work. Greg is certified to teach AP classes so he knows what is required and how to drive students to do their best work to earn high scores. While my son is quite self-motivated, Greg played a part in him getting a 4 on his AP 2-D Design test last year and him earning $414k in college scholarships to 6 design schools. He selected College for Creative Studies where he is going to study Transportation Design. If your student is serious about art, Greg Storer Art Studio is the place to be! I highly recommend it.

Greg is a great teacher, my daughter(8) really enjoys his class. He touches all the fundamentals, also gives you room to incorporate your own style. The class is structured very much like an art studio. It is NOT craft class, everyone even the little ones are expected to put his/her best effort.

I highly recommend Greg Storer because his methods achieved immense results for my daughter, technically, as well as mental confidence. She started as a junior high school student and learned the technical skills of drawing and painting. She desired "adult" instruction that would push her artistic expression and techniques, that she felt she wasn't getting in school and other after school enrichment classes. As a result, she received scholarships and admission into top design schools. Greg has a an experienced, succinct instruction method that accelerates attention to technical detail composition, and art history. His facility and community of artists has a supportive and cool atmosphere that inspires students to want to go there. He has modified his operations with a very clear reopening plan with Covid and operating procedures that allow one to know what to expect. He demonstrated his commitment to ideals beyond just teaching art classes with the following unexpected additional perks:1)Certified to teach AP 2D Art and Design.- Allows students to work year round, and start art exploration earlier and free up time in student schedule.2)Goal based Instruction paths- serious accelerated preparation or just to enjoy and learn more.3)Career Education- Facilitates Art College Admission events and exposure to careers with creative art.4)Practical advice on college scholarship opportunities and planning.5)Hosts a curated art shows of student work- Builds artist confidence and prepares students for portfolio and presentation skills.6)Advice on materials and supplies based on experience, and level.7)Ability to adjust his instruction to kids, high school students, or older artists. Good with teenagers! Direct and challenges them.9)Clear explanation for makeup classes, online scheduling, online payments. The most important aspect of Greg is that he passionate about helping his students achieve, and has a professional, well run business model that supports his mission. Love what and how he does it!

I have been taking art classes with Greg for about 2 years. I have loved every minute of my time here. I started classes wanting to learn how to paint, but I found I did not like painting with oils or acrylics. Greg stood by me through drawing and using colored pencils, until he finally introduced me to gouache. Now I am painting and loving it. Greg was patient and helped me to find my hidden talent. I am so happy that I began classes at Greg Storer Art.

I wanted to be an artist since I was a kid, even took a few classes over the years, but had never learned the basics—value, color-mixing, composition, measuring, etc. Greg was highly recommended by an art teacher at my school, and when I started 6 years ago, I got the basics and so much more. I trust Greg because he’s an incredible artist who knows how to teach. He challenges me to understand what I want a painting to “say” and helps me when I lose sight of that. I have made wonderful and supportive friends at the studio, and missing class is something up with which I will not put.

A man of knowledge, talent (both as an artist and teacher) patience and humor, working with Greg Storer exceeded all of my expectations. After studying painting over 40 years ago, I have found it difficult to get back to it again having to relearn so many things. Greg makes things make sense guiding encouraging and teaching. Many of his students that I met have been studying with him for over seven years. He works equally as well with children and adults. Wishing someone was as great as this back in New York, where I live.
