Employees kept following us around, it made us super uncomfortable. I think I counted 3 at one point. We were just looking around, apparently that means you plan on stealing everything in the store.

This store definitely needs customer service trading I or just general customer service etiquette , I came in this pass Friday no hello , or how are you, was not even acknowledged coming in the door iv’ve worked in a medical office over the last 25 years and also I am a licensed esthetician and. Customer service is a plus I will not be returning to this location anytime soon ! And will not recommend this store to any family or friends!

This store needs a customer service employees training overhaul more than any store I’ve been to. The store itself and products are nice. Everything else stops there. If you enjoy being stalked and given hostile looks by the staff while minding your own business, then this is the place for you. I’ve been in here countless times and get very mean aggressive looks from the staff as I’m trying on products. Most of the women that work here do not look like they have any makeup training/skills whatsoever. I had better makeup skills when I was 12 years old. During the Pre-covid years they had better staff. I think the worst employee here is the older woman with curly hair who acts very hostile towards customers. Still traumatized from one day I came in and was deciding which powder to get as my last favorite one was discontinued. She approached me very aggressively and got into my personal space and almost took the powder I was trying on out of my hand. It was very weird and unacceptable. I don’t think she belongs in customer service or any kind of makeup store. Ulta, please fire this awful person. You can do better! I will stick to stores that have friendly staff that actually know how to apply makeup.

Ulta Beauty offers a vast, sometimes overwhelming, array of products. From high-end brands to drugstore staples, it's a one-stop shop for beauty enthusiasts. The store's layout, while generally organized, can feel cramped during peak hours, and navigating the aisles requires patience.
The staff's knowledge and helpfulness vary significantly. Some are passionate and offer excellent advice, while others seem less engaged. The salon services are a mixed bag; experiences can range from exceptional to disappointing, so thorough research and reviews are crucial before booking.
Ulta's rewards program is a definite plus, offering points and exclusive discounts. However, online ordering and in-store pickup can be inconsistent, with occasional delays or errors. The constant stream of promotions and coupons is both a blessing and a curse – great for saving money, but tempting for impulse purchases. Overall, Ulta is a convenient destination, but its inconsistent service and product availability can be frustrating.

Had a great experience! Wasn't sure about a concealer color choice, but Bethany helped me test both, gave great recommendations for a tinted moisturizer and got it ordered since the one I wanted was out of stock and was very friendly and personable!

Bethany was so helpful and patient when helping my Aunt. She even took time the next day when we returned the product because of the color. ♥️♥️♥️

My wife's pros:
Lady GaGaGaGaGa cosmetics line
Korean Skin Care
Rewards System
Wide Quality and Price Selection
Husbands cons:
Making eye contact with another husband or partner who isn't interested in cosmetics as we slowly descend into the first circle of hell knowing there are several more awaiting while aware, deep down, there is NOTHING that can save us.

Very friendly staff. I wanted a curling iron and there were none on the shelf. A lady checked in back and they had one left. Very happy with my shopping experience.

Booked a thirty minute make up lesson and just wanted to learn the best kind of eye look for my face type. The ‘lesson’ consisted mostly of my stylist bemoaning that I hadn’t booked a longer appointment and rushing through the process. While I liked the overall style I felt like I had to keep reminding her that this was a LESSON and to explain the technique to me. I wasn’t there for a make over and $40 later I don’t feel as though I benefited much at all. Felt pressured to leave a tip at the cashier when I really wanted a refund.

Great place to buy chapsticks.

Listen! I was having a bit of a frustrating day and decided to go in to check out a perfume oil a lady told me about that was at Ulta. I didn't know exactly where to find it so I sought help and asked the cashier. JAZ (for short, worked the morning shift on 9/26/24) SHE WAS AMAZING!! She knew EXACTLY what I was talking about when I asked and then she suggested some pairings to go along with the oil! SMELLED AMAZING! Exactly the scents that fit me! So I bought both! I even asked about the lipgloss brand she was wearing and she recommended it to me as well! Overall, she brightened my day and shopping experience! She was professional, bubbly, and knowledgeable, just everything you are looking for in any type of shopping experience! Highly recommend!
