Horrible experience one star is being generous. I've been a long time customer until today for 20 years and due to no fault of my own my card was declined and I was discriminated against when I told the cashier numerous times to just cancel my order I'll go without food and they insisted I continue using my card that was declined then realized there is an outage affecting said card. I tried numerous times to speak to Management expressing my dissatisfaction and being discriminated against. A complaint has been forwarded to Corporate regarding this matter and a Grievance has also been filed against Giant Eagle for discrimination and harassment. Be aware if your poor this store will and does discriminate against you which is a violation of USDA and ADA Guidelines.

Tried to go to the self check out and was met with needing a free membership card. I thought maybe I clicked something wrong and asked for assistance only to be met with extreme blunt and rudeness about self checkout always requiring membership. When I asked in confusion about it, thinking I was here a few months ago and didn’t need one I was immediately interrupted and talked over that it’s been this way for “years”. I could very well be wrong, but the lady’s tone was so disrespectful, rude, and out of line. This was another reminder to avoid this store after I previously had 3 failed attempts to get someone to help with the elegant free membership card last year.

Help desk consistency is terrible. The employees always complain about how only 2 of them are trained over there. Always inconvenient and the line is never orderly.
They also take 25 minute breaks when they have a 15 minute sign out.

In this time of everything being expensive and shelves empty in every store I found everything I needed. The personal was friendly and The store was clean 🙂

I stopped by this Giant Eagles in Massillon Ohio. It’s very clean here a lot of different varieties in this store! The workers were very helpful when I needed help with knowing where the creamer was and getting my fresh fish weighed.. 😎

I frequent this location often. The Customer Service is always friendly and I get friendly Customer Service here 10 times out of 10. The meat is always Fresh the produce is always Fresh. However there are things you can buy other places that are a lot cheaper than Giant Eagle. I recently seen a big bag of Charcoal there for 16.99 you can go to Walmart and get two of those bags for the same price I did find that a little ridiculous. They are a bit pricey but for meats and veggies I don't go anywhere else. Especially the Customer Service. We sometimes order Chicken there for parties and picnics and they have never disappointed us and arguably the Best fried Chicken around. Keep up the good work GE
