Madison at the self check out registers at the Massillon Home Depot was rude and condescending and laughed in my face because she’s work there “two years” and knows all the functions of the cash register and refused to get a manager when I explain I was able to make a transaction 2 months prior using manual entrance for a card instead of having actual card on me. And when I asked for a manager a second time stated me in the eyes and laughed again. Checked out with other means went to customer service had it refunded and ta-da they were able to check me out with manual entrance of card even though Madison laughed in my face and refused to try. The young man and manager at customer service were very helpful
And apologetic.

Bait and switch at it's finest.
I stopped in tonight to get some personal tools, and since I was already there, I also grabbed some supplies for work. One of the items I was grabbing was eye protection for my co-workers. You had tinted 6 packs of HDX glasses marked down for $19 each. I grabbed what I thought was 3 packs of the same and headed to the front. 1 register open with an actual person, and the rest were self-checkouts. So I walk down to the manned register, and halfway through my transaction, the cashier notices that only 1 of the 3 packs rang up at $19. The others were $28. Is it a huge amount of money? No. But this is where someone says "If you need the 3 packs, I'll see if someone can go find you 2 more of the $19 ones." Or, "Let me adjust the price on these identical packs of glasses and get you all 3 for the lower price." That's unfortunately not what happened.
So now I have "Less Saving" and "More Doing" because now I'm going to go to a competitor's store to get the other two packs of glasses, even though you're the closest hardware store to my house.
Enjoy the $263.42 from my work purchase and the $15.38 from my personal purchase, and the $18 dollar difference in bait and switch tinted protective eyeglasses because I can't see me coming back. THAT is the power of the Home Depot.
