We took our dog Molly to MAH her whole life. We were happy with the care even though the cost of everything went sky high. Our dog had many health issues which we spent $$$$ on but the day when she had a bad seizure and it was time to put her down I called . They told me no vet was there and we had to take her to an Green Animal Hospital to be put down so we did and then I found out later from my sister in law who had her dog there that same morning and there WAS a vet there after all. So I was lied to after spending sooo much money at MAH. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone and will never take any new pets we get there.

Wanted our cat’s ears checked out,the girl that answered the phone wanted nothing to do with our cat. I never heard of telling the customer that it was $65.00 to walk in the door. Customer service was awful - obviously they don’t want business. Will never recommend this place to anyone will steer people away from this animal hospital.

I brought my English Bulldog in for what I thought was a UTI Dr. G came in did not take her temp listen to her heart or even feel her belly. she gave me an antibiotic for the UTI and I left there paying $150. they sent her urine in for a culture I got a call saying that she has 2 different bacteria and needed another antibiotic so I go in to get that and was charged $92 for the culture which they did not tell me how much it even was and then the cost of more meds so I paid $1

The staff here was so compassionate when we had to put our dog down. I cannot say thank you enough for that! We received a sympathy card and then his paw print. It was unexpected, and it brought me to tears. It was just what I needed. Thank you again.

My family has been taking our pets here for 30 years probably now. Excellent staff who really care for the animals they look after in the good times and bad. I wouldn't dream of ever going anywhere else. Thank you for your years of service to us!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you want knowledge of what you spent your money on during the visit as well as the procedures that were done THEY DONT DO THAT I'm still clueless on what was actually was done and everything she says that my cat was very sick from. Not only for this cat Im speaking of, but problems with a visit with a new kitten I have now.. My first issue, I took my 12 year old feline here because she had what I thought was a seizure at 5 am on the 19th of April 2018, she still at this time was eating good and using the litter box regularly, but after this seizure, for precaution I wanted her to be checked, just in case. She napped with me in my bed after the seizure happened, then hopped down and ate food and drank water. When the hospital opened that day I called and tried to get her in ASAP... which was not until 10 AM? I explained that she was playing, everything was fine. Dr. Janelle Gottuso proceeds to tell me that my pet was veryyyy sick.. I had NO inkling she had been ill, I'm with her 24/7 ....AND I ALREADY knew beforehand that cats can hide illnesses, but again, she was completely her herself..Trust me I would freak out over the smallest things with her... After paying $500.00 for X rays and meds I left the hospital with my cat. Ms Gottuso said she had diabetes, a mass in her stomach that was "probably" cancer that spread, a enlarged heart ect (Again, I JUST was here 5 months ago and everything was good) my cat would get car sick, so I walked in the snow that morning there, so I didn't make her more uncomfortable. My car had a pile of snow on it, that morning was the last snow of the year). my mind was thinking a million things, I even walked in my slippers carrying her to this place. So I gave her 1 dose of the Buprenex (morphine) for cats. It was a "small" dose the vet said, it was to make her "comfortable"....in under a hour she couldn't move..I carried her to bed, she was making circular motions with all 4 of her legs while laying down, like she was trying to get up but was so drugged up, she just couldn't....that was the WRONG medication to give! I called the following day because she passed away at 530 pm....to see what she was so ill from since nothing was typed on the paper about it ..LIKE maybe, a receipt showing more than the word X-rays......$500 the receipt I did received DIDN'T EXPLAIN ANYTHING,but it did say follow the instructions below, but that part was BLANK...like every other receipt I received from them.. I thought vets let you see X-rays when you pay for them?! and proof of the procedures that were done?! Especially if you're just told she has half a dozen illnesses for the 1st time. I wanted to see them, since she DID pass away, So, I called and told Jeanine what had happened, (The DR called me on this, and I hear there are some discrepancies on who I talked to and YES, it was Jeanine) NO, that's what she said You have to ASK to see the X-rays while your there at the visit. Well, I'm SORRY Jeanine I had "other" things on my mind that morning, like my best friend just having a seizure, out of the blue, Miss.Attitude ... go back to your old job selling plants, because your attitude about my beloved pet just dying and me wanting to see her records was just NOT professional.. When DR Gottuso did find out I wanted to see a detailed report of that visit, she replies "What's the paper going to do?" "It won't bring her back... Well, I replied, it will give me the closure I need for losing my best friend suddenly, that I : # 1 I had no clue was sick and #2 I've had 12 years, I've raised since she was 5 weeks. I think it would help just a little. I had to take this cat out of state, so I brought her here in Oct of 17.... 5 months before this, for motion sickness medication and a check up. Everything was fine, I got the OK to leave with her, I only had to

Got a new puppy a few months ago and took her to Massillon Animal Hospital to get established with a new vet. What's the initial visit they asked me to bring in a stool sample. The sample was tested and came back positive for giardia. Upon starting our third round Giardia medications I asked to speak to the vet doctor. We spoke for a few minutes and do to work I had to get off the phone later I called back spoke with the receptionist and we discussed when I come in that eveni

Last year my dog, Max, got very sick. There was no other vet around the area that would take a new patient. My original vet was back home (hours away) and didn't have any appointments open. I knew he needed medical care and couldn't wait any longer, so I called around and that is when Massillon Animal Hospital said they would take a look at him. They truly saved my dogs life. Yes, it seems a bit pricey, but they do a wonderful job taking care of your fur baby! The ladies at this clinic truly gave my dog the best care. They are always there when you need anything and go above and beyond. I truly recommend this Animal Hospital!
