Amelia is fabulous!!! I haven’t had my hair cut in about 4 years and I wouldn’t have wanted my first experience back in the chair to be with anyone else! She was able to give me exactly what I wanted out of my haircut/hairstyle and it looks and feels amazing now. Thank you so much, Amelia!!

I had a recent visit with Amelia, who very kindly cut a foot of hair off of my head. Amelia helped guide me to a cut that would suit me, taught me how to style it, and showed me products to accentuate my curls. She creates a very comfortable environment and is more than happy to share her knowledge.

I was scheduled to get a haircut and eyebrows wax. When I arrived for my appointment I was informed that my stylist doesn’t do eyebrows wax but there is another stylist that will. After I I was finished with my haircut I was informed to sit in lounge area to wait. I waited about 10 minutes when another stylist took me to the waxing area. I set down when she informed me that the wax was not turned on and it will be about 30 minutes before it gets ready or I can reschedule for later. This is not acceptable when I scheduled the appointment a week before.

So..Amelia colored my hair Friday .first time ever with waist length my 66 years.When I say she changed my projector I'm not kidding.Everyone says how much younger I look...including my residents I take care of...she takes such care about how you feel and want to feel.SO grateful.Thanks to dil Melissa for the encouragement and recommendation...#thanksfrommy heartamelia

My daughter is so happy with her new haircut from Amelia! She has thick, wavy hair and while she's had good cuts from other places, she's never been this happy with a cut and overall experience. We initially made the appt for a curly cut but Amelia took the time to explain to us why that might not be the best cut for her hair. Everything she said made sense and she also asked a ton of questions to make sure she understood what my daughter's expectations were. She is very easy to talk to and made my daughter laugh a lot. I've never heard her sound so comfortable getting a haircut. The whole place just seems amazing, we were even given a tour since we were first time customers. The price was very fair for the whole experience. We will be back and THANK YOU AMELIA!!!

Definitely go to Trish! I had super long thick hair, and she did a phenomenal job with what I wanted, as well as educating me on my hair texture and how to style it! She did a wonderful job and I will go back to her every time.

I went to Hair Chiasso for the first time today and received what may have been the best haircut of my life! Amelia asked detailed questions, truly listened and gave honest feedback. I have long/thick/coarse hair and finally feel like I got the desired outcome I had been asking for with other stylists/salons. She is amazing! 😊

I got a lasio keratin treatment on my 3a ish hair and it hardly worked. Curls are still here and frizz is same as ever. Mind you, I originally came in for a consultation and I was told that those things would be decreased and it would work on my hair. My stylist, Hallie or Ally (I couldn't tell what people were saying) seemed to not know what she was doing and was also saying some things that didn't make sense/were contradictory, involving information about the treatment like when I should wash it next. I am not very happy spending over $300 for hardly any benefit. It is a little easier to straighten but I wanted this treatment for low maintenance and now my hair seems to be requiring more to look how I want it to. I don't want to blame it on the stylist even though the things I said above happened. I hope it is just because my hair type isn't suitable for this treatment even though my stylist said it would be. Oh well.
However, I have gotten curl cuts with Amelia in the past and she is wonderful and I would never have any complaints

Just got done with another dry curl cut with Amy. She is just amazing- she always makes sure she understands what I want and makes it happen! My curls have never looked better. I’m so glad I found her and this salon!!

Amy Colvin understands two things very clearly; how to cut curly hair and that you know your curls better than anyone. because of this, i believe she is the best curly hair specialist in the area. not only did i receive the best hair cut of my life by someone who truly understood how to cut my hair but also tools and information to help maintain the health of my curls. if you are struggling to find a curl stylist, i would recommend Amy Colvin and anyone who has trained under her.

I had Amelia and she made my WHOLLLE EXPERIENCE !!! i was so nervous walking in (bc ive never done anything w my hair) but she was welcoming and funny and did an amazing job. i have never walked out absolutely beaming out of any appointment in my whole life. she did an amazing job with my curly hair and im so obsessed with the final product. she listens and gives suggestions and never pressures you into anything and i just loved her !!!!! 10/10
