Terrible business....have always done my own taxes...failed to file last year...decided I needed someone to do them since I had two returns to do. Took them to Hawthorne Financial ..they had them for a month...after a month they told me it'd be 395.00. I was a little surprised at the sum but not opposed to letting them file. The receptionist called and left me a message telling me the sum and that I probably didn't want to spend that much so I could pick up my documents. How would she think that. Just wanted to be done with filing. Terrible sales, terrible service. Guess they didn't want or need the business. To make assumptions like that is pretty poor business practice...if the receptionist is in charge of the business...good luck. I went to them because I live in the neighborhood. Next time I'll get a reference. Back to the drawing board.
