Extremely disappointed to find out that my promotional period for payment on my engagement ring was up 1/28/23 and got back charged $1600 in back interest. Called customer service and no assistance can be made of course - The company should really put messages on the website with warnings while paying monthly payments online. Difficult to rely on paper mailing when it is 2024 and every households junk mail is out of control. Thanks!!4 weeks later.. Stumble upon my new bill. Additional interest charged AFTER the bill was paid in FULL. Don’t shop here place is a joke… Shop local.

Received a necklace purchased at the FT store for Christmas, within 6 months it broke. I took it in for repair & paid for the extended warranty. When it was sent back it was not fixed to look like the original style, they had to add a ring to each side of the pendant. I didn’t like the look of it but was told that’s all they could do. About a year later the chain broke again so I took it in for repair. They basically soldered it together at the break which left the chain connected by a lump of metal instead of a link. It looks terrible and I told the associate I once again wasn’t happy with how it was repaired. They told me to call the 800 number. After talking to customer service by calling the 800 number I was told to take it back in the store. The store told me they can’t do anything further with the repair. So I’m left with a necklace I hate the look of because Kay’s repair team lacks any sort of skill.

We purchased our wedding bands here over 12 years ago, as well as other mothers day gifts, cleanings etc since. I recently had my ring fixed as the center stone came out. I discovered that it was loose again so I brought it in. Not only were they very unhelpful, but also wanted to charge me because it was 1 month outside of warranty. I asked if they could make an exception being I just had it fixed and they said no. I went down the street to J Foster's and they were extremely helpful! They assured me the stone was safe but would need further maintenance, but tightened it for me right then for peace of mind.We recently had custom diamonds made that we will soon need bands for and we won't be purchasing them from here.

I shouldn't have had to pay for repairs made to my ring, because it had to extended warranty on it.

I dropped my Citizen watch off at this location to have the watch band repaired. As they could not do it in the store I was informed that it would be sent off to citizen to be repaired, as they were the only ones that could do the repairs. I was informed that it would take about a 30 days to receive the watch back. After about a month and a half I went to pick the watch up, after i was informed the previous week that it was at some other store somewhere, as it was shipped to the wrong store. ?♂️ at the time I went to pay for the repairs I visually looked over the watch and it was an exactly the same condition that it had left in aside from clearly being run across the buffing wheel. The watch band had the same slop in it that it had when it left and was almost about to separate at one of the linkages which was the original issue. Thankfully they did not charge me for the repair that wasn't made, however I was told that I would have to ship it back again to get the repair done. Obviously one can see where the hesitation someone might have considering this process already happened over the course of a month and a half and clearly did not get repaired. After reaching out to citizen to find out what repairs were supposedly done they could not find any information that said or showed that my watch had ever been at citizen! After calling back the Kay Jewelers location in Maumee I was then informed it went to a repair shop called Stoll & Company. This was the first time I ever heard of this repair facility and furthermore there was no information anywhere apparently on the work order that showed what repairs were done and what was fixed. It definitely was not a good experience to say the least! I'm sure not everybody has the same experience howeverThe lack of knowledge and knowing what is even going on with the products they taken to have repairs done is quite baffling considering they're supposed to be authorized citizen dealer. Had I been informed that my watch would have been going to this other repair center that I had never heard of I absolutely would have made a different choice, again I was never informed of any of that until after the fact and a couple phone calls. At the time of them taking my watch I was informed it would be going to citizen! Which is obviously quite different than where it went, and DIDN'T get fixed!!

Walked in the store today with my boyfriend to look at engagement rings. We were helped by a woman named Shanna; she was wonderful, personable, and super helpful. Can’t recommend her enough. However, Patti (the store manager), came over halfway during the process and was EXTREMELY pushy towards my boyfriend regarding financing and purchasing a ring today (we had no intention of doing this - which we stated). She was asking when he was planning on proposing - something I explicitly stated to her that he not give an answer to in front of me, yet she kept asking. She then had the audacity to ask if my boyfriend could even afford the rings I was looking at. The more he kept telling her that he wasn’t interested in getting pre-approved for financing today, the more rude she became before finally walking away. Pretty much turned us off from ever going back there.

Your manager at this location is completely rude and wanted me to pay twice for a ring I’d already purchased because apparently you can’t resize Mens rings. Apparently she has to order a new one with her own money even though I’m giving her the old ring back just need a different size?
