Midwest Eye in Maumee is where I went to get my glasses. Worked with MICA who is amazing with customer service. She is kind, understanding to my problem. Mica then worked hard to be sure I got the glasses I needed and earlier than was expected. This was so appreciated as hard to see without them. MICA IS THE BEST!!! Thank you for your great service.

Never answer their phone. I’ve left messages and no call back. They ordered the wrong contacts for me. Glasses way over priced for poor quality. I will it be going back

I have read the posted reviews and agree with many of the experiences. I left four messages (one every week) to see if my glasses that were paid for in full had been received. Staff seem friendly and responsible, but, not responding to three messages is not satisfactory.

My daughter purchased 2 pair of glasses totally 373.00 with her insurance paying 200.00 of that cost. She received one pair after 3wks and a month later she has not gotten the 2nd pair. Unable to get anyone on the phone to address the issue had to go out there to trouble shoot. Still couldn't get a reasonable answer as to why the delay. Was told the glasses went to separate places,their lab and the other Texas????? A month??. Then was told the 2nd pair was just processed... It appears No one knows what they are doing. Given 1 star only because I had to in order to write review. Would give 0!!! Would never go there again!! Need to polish staff

I have been trying to call them all this week. I got through to the reception desk and was told I need to speak to a technician. Left a message for them to call me.........but no call back yet. this is Day 3 now and still no response. When I call now it automatically goes to VM indicating that I need to leave a message. Very frustrating, not good customer service.

2 of my adult children were there 3 plus hours for exam each! Unless your ok with them wasting your time avoid them at all cost,this place needs new management. I've been seeing the same eye doctor (Northwest eye care on Central) for 10 years never been there for even A hour. Very inefficient and NO ONE IN FAMILY'S GOING THERE EVER AGAIN! Shame on them. Very upset

I scheduled an appointment almost two months ago and they told me they accepted my insurance. Then just two days before appointment they called me and made it complicated saying they still do but they don't. Lol. And they wanted to reschedule again. They could of lied to me sooner so I could have made other arrangements .

Gave us broken glasses , reordered a new pair months ago and was never contacted. Recieved a letter that they would be throwing out the replacement pair because we didn't 'pick them up' in 10 days, despite months of no contact. The letter was post dated for after the day we needed to respond to? Over a year of trying just to get a pair of glasses and nothing.

No one answers the phone. I had an emergency where my only glasses were gone. I needed a copy of my prescription to get a pair right away they said they can print it but it’s expired. I was only a few months over. They write EXPIRED in big sharpie so now no one will take it. Why do that?

I have called 10 times to try to get my contacts ordered and every time I call, it goes to voicemail. I’ve left about 5 voicemails and have not received a call back. This is VERY FRUSTRATING. I should be able to call and speak with someone instead of having to leave a voicemail every time. I am almost out of contacts and am going to have to physically go there, which means loading my kids up in the car and bringing them with me just to get contacts ordered. This is unacceptable and I will be finding a new provider in the future.

Thanks so much to Dr. Monroe and the staff for helping me. I am beyond grateful for the gal at front desk for calling Dr Monoe at home to come in. She was so kind. I had gotten tear duct plugs Friday at another location. The left one was not in place and by Saturday my eye was raw. She removed it and numbed my eye. She advised me to wait for irrigation to go away. Thank God she camein I would have been a mess by Monday.

I asked them for my last prescription, which is expired, to provide it to my scholarship so they can let me do the new eye exam. She wrote a big Expired on the paper. They are unprofessional. She said do the new eye exam. If I have to do a new eye exam, I will not do it in your clinic. I do not recommend this clinic for many reasons. One of these reasons is waiting time. If your appointment is at 10:00am, you will be seen at 12 or 1. The other reason is the reception office do not deal very well with the patient.

Thank you team for saving what could have been extremely dangerous! I came into town for a quick visit - forgot my glasses then a contact popped out. I was able to walk in, fax my prescription, and receive 2 boxes of contacts to hold me over until I drove back to Chicago. Life savers! Thank you for your kindness and helpfulness!
