Discoverd a historic bit of a city I've lived in most of my life. A bit of new to me wildlife as well. Watching the swift birds chase each other was interesting. They dart like bats!!

The canal grottos are just beautiful. The Silver Lake area is also incredibly pretty and peaceful. The trails make for a relaxing hike. The Silver Lake area with the Canal Trail is a hidden gem! Get out and explore!

I love this park! Been coming here with my family for decades and it kust keeps getting better the more they pave the gravel and landscape.
