UPS is really trying hard to be as bad or worse than the USPS when it comes to on time delivery. To make matters worse their customer service line won’t connect you to a live representative and the Toledo hub closed its customer service counter. If UPS isn’t concerned with on time deliveries and they aren’t concerned about customer service then perhaps it’s time to close up shop and find a different line of business.

The 800 number is pretty crappy! They told me my package was there and gave me the address to pick it up. We drove just over 20 minutes to get there and the customer service store/area was permanently closed? Called from the parking lot and spoke with another person. Nothing they didn't know. Scott. My package came on a Monday. Then they sent me again there on Tuesday. And then again on Wednesday. But the store manager at this location he was absolutely amazing! Okay, he physically called me. Come on Monday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. instead I found your package. I'm so sorry it was lost! That was great! I'm sorry I don't remember your name but I think it was something .. ?.

Won't allow pickup so a large number of the plants I was expecting to receive today are now going to bake in a truck all weekend.

Utterly stupid that they closed the customer center. Now you have to drop oversize packages at Michael’s or the ups store, which sucks for anyone near the hub because they also closed the store in maumee packages can now sit at Michael’s for a whole day for no reason because of the closure

Oh, there is plenty of improvement, and your AI SUCKS. Don't be Sooooooo cheap and hire back Customer Service Representative. And have the Delivery Driver's write what time that they've delived, when you miss a Delivery on the note.

Medical device was overnight air from TX and got all the way to Maumee OH in about 12 hours. Received a “missed truck” email 11:21 AM Saturday stating that an alternate delivery would be scheduled. Missing 3PM Saturday delivery was tolerable. However, as of 10:25 AM Sunday there has been NO FURTHER UPDATES. On line info is inadequate. The automated phone answering is useless for anything other than standard questions. Was eventually transferred to “human”. The voicemail response stated I should call back Monday and then disconnected my call. This is a medical device that was overnight air for a reason!!! The initial delay is not the complaint. The complaint is that a medically necessary device has been sitting in Maumee OH for 24 hours with no communication method available to find out how or when to move it to the final destination 18 minutes away!!!!!

Save your self some time and don’t even consider working here. They’ll take off your hours form your paycheck and not pay the full amount you’re expecting. And they’ll call you in when THEY need you to come in.

Just received my package today from UPS. Great updates as always. I appreciate it when a business ships to me via UPS rather than the USPS. UPS sends regular updates as to where my package is, updates when it's delivered, ships quickly, and is friendly if I see them at the door. Once, when a business printed my address incorrectly, my UPS driver recognized my name and brought my package to my correct address that very same day. OTOG, my own mail carrier often delivers my mail to the wrong address. They've (USPS) also straight up lied to me about the status of my package, and said they tried to deliver but I wasn't home, when I watched the truck drive right past my place. If given the choice, I would always choose UPS over the USPS for receiving packages.

They shave hours off your check, always write down your hours every. Single. Day. This is just one of the many ways us workers get mistreated. Do yourself a favor and find work elsewhere. Don't even ship with UPS.
