Disappointing! Customer service is an afterthought.
Before purchasing the Dunlop tire for my Harley, I asked for 'spoke weights' to be used for the balancing since they are more appealing on a beautiful chrome spoked wheel. After receiving excuses about not having them in stock and having to wait, I said, "No problem, I'll wait."
When I delivered the wheel, the excuses about the weights began again. This time, it was because the tool to be used for the installation was broken, and "corporate" would not replace it, and only stick-on weights would be available. I said no stick-ons and remove the existing spoke weights.
When I picked up the wheel, I asked if they were able to put the spoke weights on because I saw two of them installed. I was told they were on the wheel when I dropped it off, but they couldn't remove them because their tool was broken.
I asked for a reduction on the invoice because I now have to take the wheel to a dealer. I was told the balancing was free and no discount was given.
I took the wheel to a local Harley dealer and had it balanced using spoke weights. I received excellent service without excuses and paid nearly $30 for the balancing and weights.
I will never again purchase tires from Cycle Gear. I'll go to the dealer and have the service performed professionally without excuses.
The people I dealt with at this location did not understand the value of a customer, and as a result of this experience, they lost this one.

Usually I deal with a guy named Mike there. First off he is awesome. Always gives great customer service and made me a repeat customer even though it is further than the NO store. This weekend I went up for brake pads and some other guy was there. He was willing to price match online but he said I have to do each item individually to include shipping. I said but I’m not buying just one I’m getting free shipping because I’m buying three sets of pads. The guy still made it single to factor in shipping which then two pads cost the same as if I would have got three. I walked out and may never buy from cycle gear, rev or what ever associated companies are again. Bought front and rear sets of pads on speed addicts for less than what just two sets for the front would have cost there. Would love for upper management to reach out to me to discuss my experience. Won’t hold my breathe though.

Went in there to try on some Simpson & Scorpion helmets. They didn't have any Simpsons to try, which was a bummer considering I drove quite a ways.
The place was clean, but the customer service is pretty dry. No smile or "Hey, welcome to Cycle Gear, and let us know if we can help you out with anything." I just mean I've never experienced a that kind of service at this one. They will help you if you ask, but the staff I have come across there don't greet you or ask if you need help. They just tend to do there own thing, until you ask.
Other than that, the prices seem to be what you'd expect. Not really higher than what you'd see online. I wish they had a bit more of a unique selection of helmets. They have quite a good selection of Shoei's, which is great, and a few other brands, but the wall and shelves were just covered with Sedici, and that took up the most space. I feel they could definitely replace some of those with more choices.
The store has a pretty decent selection of riding apparel and shoes also, which is cool, but parts were pretty limited.
All-in-all, it's decent, but I knocked 2 stars off because the customer service was just lacking. Again, they would answer questions when you ask, it just doesn't feel welcoming and had dry personalities.
