This five below store is super unorganized and disgusting. The managers always have an attitude and stand in the back while there is one employee at the front running the entire store. One male worker, a hefty set white guy, is always complaining and making inappropriate comments in front of customers. I’m a frequent shopper there and every time without fail I am disappointed by the cleanliness in the store. The bathrooms smell and look horrendous. There’s always something wrong with their tech problems. Also, the store isn’t updated like all the rest. There are signs saying certain items are $5 but when you get to the register they’re $10 and more. Never again will I go back to this store, hopefully they get it together!

As a frequent shopper of the Mayfield Heights 5 below I am appalled at the treatment I was given. I took my son to spend his weekly allowance….the machine wouldn’t take our $100 bill. Fine, I ask for assistance, the manager tells me he can’t tell if the bill is fake or not. I asked him the determining factor, in which he said, “we know it’s real, if there are ridges on the collar.” But he can only do this with newer $100 bills. Well, guess what this was an older bill. I then ask what’s the determining factor for older bills, and to my surprise they don’t have one! How disgusting! I go next door to get my pick up order, and they accept the bill after their pen mark check without any incident! I say this to say I have spent thousands of dollars at this particular 5 below and to be treated like this is unacceptable! I will not be back, nor will I recommend anyone to come back! The manager was rude and nonchalant! We did not get what my son wanted and now I have to go elsewhere, when this is right in my own community and very convenient.
