I just witnessed the floor manager and the older lady in customer service being racist to customers this is unacceptable for a small store the produce looks old and the store was dirty no more shopping there

REMODEL THIS STORE. IT ALWAYS LOOKS DIRTY AND RUNDOWN. Very poor management. They need new management! One day when I was at the Mayfield Heights store someone had left a frozen item on top of a small ladder in an aisle. A day and a half later when I returned to the store for something it was STILL THERE in the exact same spot. There must have been employees who saw it and ignored it. I just hope it was immediately thrown away! Who knows how long it was already there when I spotted it. This is the employees and the store managers fault as they should be cognizant of these type of things. It was there a long time. No excuse.

Disappointed in this store and employees working check out in the evening. 8:45pm on a Monday night. There was 3 self-checkouts open (2 express lane, 1 allowing more than 12 items) and only ONE staffed register, which had a sign express lane (12 items or less). All had a line! Due to needing gift cards with my transaction I waited in line for the staffed register. There was a long wait due to a person a few people ahead of me who had many items in her transaction, definitely more than 12. There was an elderly woman behind me with a few more than 12 items and the cashier told her that she needed to move over to the other register that allowed more than 12. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS STORE AND EMPLOYEE! If you are only going to have 1 staffed register, you need to be able to accept any orders and individuals, especially those who may not be able to check out items themself!!

Only one cashier, as I'm busy and I'm a rush I went to self checkout, which had no line. I had 300 worth of groceries and 2 baggers worked at the only register opened. One bagger finally came over and moved my items so the belt wouldn't stop. When I asked for a manager to ask why they wouldn't bag my stuff, the bagger snickered top get co workers and said we'll she went to self check out.
Only one cashier. 2 baggers. And I'm snickered at by an old lady while I'm spending 300, in front of the manager who had nothing to say. Worst grocery store in the area.

This store is always out of the sale items and non sale items I need. I have spoken with the managers several times and they have no explanation or excuse for this situation. I now have to make the longer drive to go to the legacy village store in Lyndhurst. At least that store is well stocked.

Not my usual giant eagle. Small but fully stocked and the meat prices were lower than the Beachwood location. I may have to shop here more often. Change can be ???

Definitely like shopping in the store but today for the first time I encountered racism from a clerk. I was pretty surprised by that so I'm definitely going to think about going back.

Of the three Giant Eagle stores near me, this is the worst. Least selection. Often out of stuff Every department is less than the other two.
