I go to this place often since I live close by. I'm usually up late and get there unfortunately late since its a lot slower and not many people. Go in today and there was only one cash register open and the person refused to serve me because I had more than 12 items in my cart. It would of been more understandable if they had more registers open but its close to their closing time and everyone is trying to leave. 12 item rule should not apply so late and force someone else to open a register just for one person. I'm sorry but that is poor customer service...

At the billing counter the rep noticed that the cheese I bought was spoiled and offered to bring one for me. Never seen such great customer service.

Hour in check out (not because of the line…just me). I got 9 things got charged for 10. Cashier was talking to an ex employee and was not paying attention. Customer service wouldn’t refund because I did not notice until I got to my car. Won’t be back.

I can appreciate the level of theft you must have been dealing with at the self serve checkout. Albeit the sign that says you did it for customer service is a blatant lie. I would suggest having more than one cashier to replace the five checkout locations you once have. Giant Eagle here I come.

I'm so sorry, I don't usually do this. It's obvious they hire employees with bad manners at this store. It's a management requirement, I'm sure. Change management and give customer service and manners courses, please.

Long lines because cashiers ring slow.. there were only 2 lines open and no manager in sight..cashiers not properly trained to process payments.. everyone was on break at the same time it seemed..i had ask customer service to call for extra help because of how slow the 2 lines were moving and they asked “for?” as if they did not care that lines were extending down the aisles.. won’t be back

Why did they close the deli? Yes there were issues with some of the employees, but those issues could have been addressed. This was a great deli especially considering the Giant Eagle in Mayfield Heights good luck finding it open. I also don't understand why Marc Glassman is buying all these Jewish delis on the east side of Cleveland and ruining them. Really seems like many poor business decisions.

This is the thinnest store, which, unfortunately, I visited, a very big disrespect for customers, throwing goods at the checkout, and showing dissatisfaction with all your appearance.

The worst Marc's I've ever been to.
Zero stars is what the management of this place deserves. At 4pm on a Tuesday, they had one cashier open. The line was all the way down a food isle. There were several, 4-5, employees gathered at a different register, laughing and joking like they had no care in the world, as if they were all on break. Many different customers approached the group, asking if they were going to open another register, and one customer was told no, because it was there shift change.
I walked up to the group and left my full hand basket of groceries on the conveyor belt in front of them.
On the way out, you pass a policeman, on duty in regular city uniform. It's a shame how far this place has fallen. Will never go back.

It's 9:56 the place is pretty crowded. I stopped by to get some groceries. I was able to find what I needed. But I gave one star for the little amount of cashiers they have compared to the number of customers. I'm now in huge line in one of the food hallways. This is frustrating. You guys need to do something about that thanks

I went to the grocery store to cash in a lottery ticket, I was told that they couldn't cash the ticket because they no longer sell money orders. What does that have to do with the lottery? Every lottery retailer in Ohio is able to pay up to $599 per winning ticket. Because of this inconvenience I was forced to go to another retailer.
