Overpriced rip off. I walked in and said I was interested in getting into antique guns. Purchased a ww2 rifle that was said to be very desirable. Paid $1200 for what ended up being a $500 on a good day rifle which I guess is on me for not doing my research. Don’t trust them because they saw a sucker in me. Also they don’t follow their business hours. They are never there when they are supposed to be.

Old school gun shop. Cool assortment of older guns every time. If you're like me and you get tired of seeing gobs of plastic guns for sale, go here for nice selection of classics in walnut and blued steel. Fair prices on firearms you don't often see these days. Owners are great fellas to deal with.

I was a first time owner and was given an intro on how to handle ,load and clear the chamber. Great customer service and will go back and highly recommend anyone who wants a personal experience to check out Mayfield gun. A family owned shop who treats you like family.

I have not purchased a firearm from this establishment. But I have called on a few different occasions looking for firearms, and the person on the phone has always been incredibly helpful with amazing customer service! Hard to come by anymore

Was driving by and stopped in. Great selection and friendly guy behind the counter. Didn't purchase anything but there was no pressure to buy. Will be back to keep checking the selection.

This is possibly the finest gun store I've ever been to. If your looking for a cookie cutter boring gun store that sells only polymer wonders and ar-15's go somewhere else. Mayfield gun is like a time warp back to a gun store in the 70's and I love it! Inventory is largely like new in box retro era firearms at a fair price. Guys behind the counter are really friendly and knowledgeable. Will do business again!

The old timer in here needs to get with the program. Has used gen 3 Glock17 for $600….new gen 5’s are $500. He has a $65 transfer fee from PSA cause he simply does not like them… it’s free money… shut up and take the $25 like everyone else. Maybe if he lowered his prices and had decent guns in there he would not be so salty… place is a rip off STAY AWAY!

The owner of the store is pretty rough around the edges and comes across rude. His prices are WAY over priced. He also tried to sell me a gun and said "some guy was going to buy the gun and he put a deposit down but then Backed out of the deal." About a year later I went back and and tried to tell me the same exact story about a different gun. He sells used guns for new prices and new guns are way over priced. I'd recommend going elsewhere to get the same exact gun for lower prices.

This store and family is by far the best around. The people are ALWAYS welcoming and very knowledgeable. I always end up leaving with more than I came for plus great information. The prices are fairly competitive and fair in these hard times for guns and ammo. I will not go anywhere else. Thank you to Joe and the family for having such a wonderful place of business.
