Incredible staff. So, I know virtually nothing about computers. I'm in my early 20's and have never been a gamer (but have always wanted to be). I also got a new job in which 3/4 of my work is from home. I decided one day that I was going to get a PC because my laptop on the dining room table wasn't cutting it anymore.... I also really wanted to play games. After talking to friends, they reccomended I go here. My partner and I ventured in one afternoon wiithout high expectations. I originally wanted to build a PC but my price range made that difficult so the guy in the back picked out parts that would make my PC do what I needed, printed the list out and had me visit the prebuilt section with the list of parts. We walked over there and this is when we met Gavon. He was awesome! Super knowledgeable, didn't make me feel stupid for not knowing PC's and didn't try to sell me stuff I didn't need. He was super personable as well. It was like catching up with a friend. I felt super at ease and like the staff at Microcenter really wanted me to have to best PC experience. With all that being said, I LOVE my PC. I sit down to do some work or game and I get so happy looking at my setup. It was a great experience, everyone was super kind and helpful. I highly reccomend!!!

Purchased a laptop and several parts for a desktop build.The staff need to learn the difference between present and helpful and just plain stalkers.I walked into the TV room to look for a replacement as my 65" has a huge dead spot in it. The guy in there was across the room when I walked in. I walked over to the wall of tvs and I heard steps coming towards me so I looked up and he was just leaning on a shelf at the end of the aisle watching me. I went to the next aisle....and he moved to that aisle and did the same thing without saying a word. Did he think I was going to put a big screen in my pocket and run out? Needless to say, I left that area and got my TV from Best Buy the next day.In the laptop section, the guy was rude about the laptop we chose. We declined help when he offered, but he continued to watch us. When my brother showed me the laptop he ordered for in-store pickup, and was explaining specs and stuff he knows I look for, the guy just cuts him off and starts telling me I should get some other laptop. He needs training in upselling without being obnoxious.The kid at the online order pickup was GREAT. Friendly, knowledgeable, and talked about the items we got and informed us of some things that might interest us - which my 2 companions went back for the next day while I waited in the car.In spite of the staff ruining my first trip to a microcenter, we are very happy with everything we purchased.

First off, I think Micro Center is an excellent store... bought my first computer there from Jim in 1990. My recent experience left me disappointed. I was excited to buy a new iPad Pro, but the salesman was so condescending and made the experience terrible. and it wasn't just me because the next day I brought my sister in and she couldn't believe the way he treated us. If you're going to be a salesman, be professional, he could've upgraded me to an Apple Pencil also at the time but didn't. I was hoping the next time I went into that Apple store part it wouldn't be there. I still think it's a great store, and normally most of the sales men's are excellent this one just had an attitude problem.

No phone number to call and I recently had them do some work on my computer and ended up with more issues than before I took it in. I will not go back to a business that does not want to answer any phone calls from customers and prefers customers to drive over an hour to their location.

I’ve been shopping here for years. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store. I bought a price gouged 3080ti from them for $1800 2 years ago. Today the video card failed. I even bought their 2 year warranty. Turns out I was a month or so passed the warranty date. They wouldn’t honor the warranty. It doesn’t matter how much money you spend here. They don’t care about you. All they care about is money. It would have been very easy to do the right thing here and just honor the warranty. I am never shopping here ever again and I will be sure to spread the word to friends and family who have also spent thousands of dollars here.

Always love MicroCenter. Does that make me a n***** They always help and offer solutions. However, the service section I was less than impressed. Had a kiosk to sign in and wait, and then they didn't use it so they took people who came in after me.

Excellent store for anything related to computers. Awesome selection of hardware for BYO. Any part one could possibly need, even cables, is available. This is truly a geek's paradise. I wish I could own everything in the store.

I use the Micro Center for electronics needs. Micro Center is wheelchair accessible with wide aisles. The salespeople are very helpful and knowledgeable. Most of the time I go to their website before going to the store to see what is in stock and if not I will order it and pick it up in store.

Staff person was very helpful, wasn't too pushy, and listened to my needs. He made several suggestions that saved me some money. One of the managers stopped and introduced himself , I felt comfortable with my purchases, prices are competitive and reasonable

Customer service at Micro Center is unmatched, the service desk does their job accordingly, and the workers on the floor are incredibly knowledgeable. Russell K. helped me immensely with an issue I was having with a GPU I just bought at Micro Center, and now I'm up and running with no more issues!

I got the good old black treatment today. First, an employee whom I believe to have been a manager of some sort came in the area where my brother and I were looking at speakers and acted as if he was shopping. After we asked him if he worked there he had to go and ask someone else each time we had a question. When we got to the counter to check out, all three cashiers had a customer, so we waited. Once a customer was finished the cashier looked at us and walked away from the register. He went about 10 feet away and started talking to two other employees. He never said excuse me a minute, someone will be with you or anything. After about 5 minutes he came back with a smug attitude, very unprofessional. After I inserted my credit card, a message came up on the screen asking if I had ever shopped there before. Before I could respond, he took it off the screen. I told him I wanted to answer the question. He then asked for my phone number to bring the screen back up. Before I could input my new information the screen went out again. I have bought several computers and accessories from this Micro Center in the past, but today I was watched throughout the store and treated like a potential thief. Thanks for making me feel totally uncomfortable with returning to shop at Micro Center on Som Center Road, Mayfield, Ohio.

Needing a new wireless router, I went to the Mayfield Micro Center. I received an awesome education and purchased the correct product for my needs. Now that it is installed (great advice given in store to make installation and connecting devices seamless) we are so happy with the purchase and the performance of the unit.We did pay a little more than on line (about 10%) but we feel it was worth it for the education and tips on an easy installation.Thank you to the employee (long salt/pepper hair in a ponytail) that helped us and to Micro Center!

I am giving a three star instead of more because of the inconsistency of service quality. It seems that some of the people providing Customer Service are informed and willing to provide information and answer questions. at least three of the people I spoke to in repair, and in the sales floor were completely clueless and Customer Service attitude, and information. However, both Justin and Stuart were so helpful to myself and my girlfriend that we took their cards and want to return just to talk with them and possibly buy from them. They were both able to help us find exactly what we needed and we just have to return when we’re ready to pick up our product. If it had not been for those two gentlemen, we would’ve walked out without any thought of buying there at all. Also, not sure I want to use their repair department. Apparently the services are very limited and the knowledge may not be there either if the person at the desk that we spoke with. I think management should rethink the people they hire or train them better.
