About Medina County Animal Shelter
Medina County Animal Shelter is a place where many animals find forever homes. The staff is very nice, kind, and helpful. Many families have adopted wonderful dogs from here, including senior dogs and hyper little dogs that become great members of the family. The shelter works to save animals and help people heal from loss, creating moments of happiness. They conduct checks during the adoption process. The shelter has stayed open late to facilitate adoptions. There are so many animals that need homes, and adopting from a shelter is encouraged over getting a puppy.

We have adopted three dogs from here over the years. Two were senior dogs that we wanted to feel loved and be able to roam a large yard in their final years. The other is a hyper little bird dog that has become such a great member of the family. The staff has always been very nice and helpful.

Thank you for staying open past 4:00 so I could adopt Binkers, now Clare. She has been an absolute wonderful addition to our family.
