Loads of fun. Can't wait to go again.
I thought it was easy to do but the other 3 in my group had initial trouble. You got to try it

I Can't Recommend TimberBeast enough! It was the first place I ever threw an axe, and I keep coming back because the staff is so nice and friendly! Plus, if you go to the Media Location you might even see a Pro Axe thrower or two!

Our group had a good time but my issue is with the customer service aspect. Our group was overcharged. We were charged full price and the amount we paid for our deposit was not credited towards our final bill. I contacted the company multiple times via email and NEVER received a response. Would only recommend if you do not make a reservation. If you make a reservation expect that you will pay more than expected because they will not credit your bill for what you have already paid.

The best Axe Throwing venue in the state, clean, well run, Coaches who are knowledgeable but not pushy. Lots of space as well, and quality wood to throw on.
Update - April 17th, 2025
Stopped in tonight on my way home from Columbus, while there is some construction going on the venue still had plenty of lanes and targets, the snack bar was still whipping up awesome food(another pair of guests had entire pizzas), and the vibe was great.
Definitely worth a visit, as are all the TimberBeast locations.

I never tried axe throwing before. It was fun! It was easier than I was expecting to get the axe to stick in the target. It definitely not easy to throw consistently well.I paid $25 for one hour on a Wednesday night. There were a handful of people practicing when I go there but there was no wait. I was able to go in and throw all I wanted for an hour. The staff as well as regulars were helpful in showing how to throw. There was an initial training and safety overview and then tips and tricks along the way. Besides using an axe they had throwing stars there as well, and I could switch back and forth as I wanted.I feel like this is a sport anyone could do and I would definitely try it again!

Timberbeast (Medina location)recently hosted ThrOhio 2023, which is historically one of the largest non-televised events in axe and knife throwing as a whole. This tournament is truly able to accomodate people who just started the sport to those that want to compete at the highest level. This year at ThrOhio, I experiencd one of the best moments of my throwing career, which was my first tournament sanctioned WKTL tournament win. This was only possible with the support of Timberbeast's amazing staff, organizers, and volunteers. They host amazing events, have an amazing venue, and they have culture to their brand. If you go to Timberbeast, you should understand that you're not just stepping into a normal axe throwing venue. You're stepping into an organization that is dedicated to both growing the sport of axe + knife throwing, and giving their customers the best experience possible.

SO much fun! I like the variety of throwing objects: axes, stars, knives (which are really hard!) Good prices, nice staff, and excellent atmosphere. I am totally doing this again!

We went for our anniversary. Henry and the other staff members were friendly and helpful. We were giving instructions and guidance and then left to play for a bit. The staff checked to see if we needed anything several times. We will definitely be going back.

In short, this place was awesome and I would highly recommend it.A friend of ours who lives in Medina, mentioned they wanted to try out this axe throwing location. They had visited the location several times for board game night sessions they host but never had the opportunity to partake in the axe throwing aspect of the facility. We reserved our time online (1 hr session ) and the entire process was very frictionless. We filled out our waivers online so it was one less step once we arrived. Arrived at the location, employees got our transaction processed, grabbed two axes and 4 ninja stars (more on that in bit!) And took us to our bay.The main room has several bays configured so that each party has two targets so two people can go at the same time in each bay. There were a handful of other folks at two other bays but it was spaced out well and we were not crowded over people. The employee did an excellent job of explaining the basic technique, safety precautions, things to look out for, etc. They gave us demonstrations on the different techniques and what we needed to do to be successful. He then let each of us try a few practice throws to make sure we were doing it safely and gave us advice to better be successful.Once that was all out of the way, we got to the business of burying those axes into those targets as accurately as possible. This was a complete blast and after only a few throws, our whole party got the hang of it and we're hitting the target with minimal issues. While ax throwing was great, the ninja stars stole the show for me. I had never thrown a ninja star ever before so it was immensely satisfying throwing it and just nailing the center of the target. I didn't want to stop but we decided to actually play some competitive games with the axes. We ended up playing "corn hole" which had a rule card right at the podium with how to play. Was a very close game and we really had fun.The hour went by quickly but ultimately most folks were pretty sore by the end of it so they were okay to be done.Going to plan to take my dad here for his birthday and I know he is going to enjoy it immensely.

My wife and I visited timber beast as a part of our anniversary celebration. We had never tried axe throwing before, but had an absolutely killer time. The staff was outstanding, educational, the location was clean and relaxed. We both really enjoyed ourselves.
