Racist.... I walked in at 8:25 pm to make sure their change machine was working and the machines werent full the guy asked if he could help me and I told him exactly that and walked back out to grab my laundry in the mean time my boyfriend walked in and he told him there wouldn't be time to wash and dry. We would have had an hour and a half to wash and dry clothes. Why wouldnt he had told me the same thing that he told my black boyfriend? He said he locks the door at 9:15 pm so what we would have been drying clothes by then. Ridiculous that you have a different encounter with the same person in less than 60 seconds. Go ahead and say it was due to some other reason..

Was there today lotta washers and dryers were out of order vending machines were broken or not filled as I’m folding my laundry behind one of the vending machines towards the corner in the corner. There were like four or five mice just hang out I won’t be back.

I've been to this laundromat a handful of times in the past year. The prices are so so, not a very modern place, and a couple of the attendants seemed like they were being bothered. As someone who already hates the business of extortion known as a laundromat, it's one of those frustrating situations that you don't have a choice, whatever they're charging, you're paying. At least have some nice people working there so you feel a little bit better about the situation. Went there today at 1:50 p.m. . There was a sign on the door saying they closed at 4:00 today. So I planned on using two big washers to wash my clothes before I even got there. Usually takes me about an hour to finish up my laundry. Soon as I walked in the door the lady says, " You can't do any laundry", and points to the sign on the door. I explained that I should be about an hour and I have over an hour. She wasn't having it. That's fine I get it,
it's New Year's Eve but it was the tone for me. If you're closed why is your door open? And how did she know what I was even doing? I could have been just washing or just drying. Again though, it was just her tone of voice and the pointing at the sign like I was an idiot. I never had a good feeling about this place. Even when I little, taking my big sleeping bags up there to be washed. I'm sure it's different owners now, but I don't know, I just got a funny feeling about the place. I don't think I'll be going there again after today.

The dryers are quick but the place is super cramped and there's not enough large washing machines. I've always had to wait a washing machine of adequate size. And my last experience was super annoying. The lady that works there just treated me like I was a moron. I'm in my mid-40s and I've definitely washed a few loadas of laundry in my day but I accidentally put bleach in the wrong machine and I didn't want to ruin all my clothes so I hurried up and took an item of mine and tried to soak up the bleach in the little compartment because it had not gone into the cycle yet. Super simple fix for something that could have been disastrous. But the way that she reacted to this whole thing was absolutely unnecessary. Like I was going to ruin her washing machine by soaking up the bleach with my item which makes no sense. She would rather me ruin all my brand new clothes than do something maybe out of the ordinary but wasn't dangerous to the washing machine. I mean it is what it is but she just really rubbed me the wrong way. Long story long, just seems there's always something that happens at that place that makes me tell myself I'm never going back but unfortunately it's the only laundromat in our area(I lend in mentor on-the-lake). 😞

If I could give this place zero stars. This is my third time coming. Each time the machines broke mid cycle and they don’t give out refunds or have change to help you restart your machine. There are two workers here. A man and a women(I think that they are married) they are the rudest people on the planet. I’m not sure if they are nasty people or racist. The employees look dirty, smell like stale cigarettes, and are unpleasant. It took everyone in my power last visit not to cuss the women out.
She stood in front on my washer and accused me of washing a belt. I explained I didn’t, and she proceeded to say she would have to stop my washer. I explained to her, if she did that and didn’t refund me, she could call Mentor Police because we would have a problem.
The large (10 dollar washers) broke mid cycle (again) and the front loaders smell like mold and mildew. They also leak water all over the floor.
I also had to hear her argue with someone on the phone for 20 min because their ankle bracelet wasn’t charging and they were gave to meet in front of the judge. Certainly wasn’t wate
Use at your own risk. This place certainly gets the job done. It’s certainly better when the two employees aren’t there.

I have lived next to this laundromat for over a decade, and have witnessed its nose-dive decline in the last few years.
The coin machine for detergent and dryer sheets never works, and I end up wasting an average of $3 per visit finding out what’s in stock and what’s not. There are never any signs posted that things are out of order. When you call the number posted, the lady asks you to come in a few days at a later date. Then will say there’s no proof of your transaction. The male who is the only employee visible to customers is anything but pleasant. He will tell you “I don’t do refunds, and we don’t have boxes of dryer sheets but I can give you a few this one time”.
The management should sell the property to someone who will actually care for it. Fortunately, my washer is getting fixed. In the meantime, I will be taking my business elsewhere so that Eckley’s will not continue to monopolize on my situation.

My first and very LAST TIME here. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could the lady working there is rude, nasty and hateful. I was trying to load washer and set my boxers on the top of the washer I sprayed them with cleaner then continued to load washer while the spray soaked in so I could throw them in last they didn’t weigh anything I seen the sign that said nothing on top of the washers figured that meant the bottles of soap well she immediately came over you can’t set anything on top of the washer. Then I went to put the soap in grabbed a chair like I always do because I am short my Daughter who is 16 got up there and put the soap in got yelled at for that too. I have been doing laundry since I was 15 now I am 50 pretty sure I know how to do laundry. We were not damaging anything or breaking things we were just minding our buisness doing our thing. This is also a VERY expensive laundry mat when a lot of the machines our out of order. The place is clean but not for the price.

I normally never write reviews but this was the absolute worse experience, the older lady that was here was so rude, not helpful at all. She blamed us for putting nickels in the machine when we didn’t. Instead of helping, she was just plain rude. I will never come to this place again.

Clean but disrespectful owner or management either way they are disrespectful. Laundromat closes at 10pm he said I couldn’t wash at 8:40?The way that they say it him and the old lady are very rude people! BE AWARE !!!
