If you care about quality and craftmanship find a different garage. I purchased a "cat-back" exhaust kit designed and built specifically for my 2017 Chevy Silverado. I hired this Marathon Auto to install it. It was designed so any idiot could put it in easily. I dropped my truck off there one morning at 8:30 a couple of weeks ago, and the woman there told me it would be around $200-$250. I said fine. She called me at around 11:30 am and said it was ready. I told her I would pick it up later that evening before they close. When I arrived to pick it up, I looked at it, and was disgusted with the work performed. I asked the "mechanic" who did the work to come take a look at it. The angled exhaust tips were installed hap-hazard. The angle cut on them was ignored, so the tips looked goofy as they were not turned as they should have been, and one angle was point to the side of the truck, while the other was almost upside down. Also, the entire dual system was not centered on the rear of the truck. One tip was off, further toward the center of the truck than the other one by 3 1/2". Even worse, the drived side exhaust angled sharply down, while the passenger side was straight and level as it was supposed to be. When asked about it, the "mechanic" said he worked for hours to get the set-up correct!!! LOL! They only had my truck 2 1/2 - 3 hours before they called and advised me it was done. He then had the unmitigated gall to tell me he could fix it if I left it with him another day! I told him they had it all day today, and this was the best they could do, that they expected this was good enough! I also told them NOT to weld it...and of course, he tack welded it, so it can't be fixed without cutting hte welds. So no, I have to take it to a shop where someone cares about quality and craftmanship. If YOU care about quality and craftmanship, then you might consider finding another garage. these people appear to only care about turnover. Get them in and get them out. I will never let this terrible, unconcerned shop touch another one of my vehicles ever again. Also, after being told it would be around $200-$250, it ended up being $370 for this shoddy work.

My mother got a flat tire at mentor family foods. A good samaritan filled it with air. She drove to the shop and they fixed the flat on the spot. Thank you!

Why is it so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic?! They charged me almost $20 more than what they quoted, knowing very well that money is tight for me, and didn't mention anything about it. When I called, they told me I should have seen the sign on the counter saying there’s an extra charge for credit cards! Seriously?! Their walls and counters are LITTERED with signs! It’s impossible to see something like that unless you’re looking for it! If I knew then I would’ve paid in cash!
YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR CREDIT CARDS. THIS IS NOT SOMETHING THATS COMMON SENSE! I will never go back to such a shady place.

I went to this mechanic already knowing the work I needed done. The mechanic confirmed what work needed to be done. And they fixed it. The work that was fix the exhaust that had several holes in it and was very loud. And it was fixed in a timely manner.I would give them 4and half stars if I could. The Reasons are: they offered to fix it the cheep way first, cut patch and weld for like $800~. Or fix the right way with new parts from engine to tail pipe for about $1200~. I had to insist on them fixing the car with new parts and spending more than the quick patch job that probably would hold for years any way. I was beside myself, that they would try to save me money like that. And I had to insist on spending my money to fix the car.The next reason is: I went to do the eCheck but the mechanic cleared the cars computer too well and I have to do a drive thing to get information back in the cars computer. Minor annoyance.And the office manager had decent customer service and joked and laughed and was overall pleasant. I did tell the office manager I would write a bad review with a bunch of stuff for her to correct, but this review will have to do.Over mostly satisfied with the experience. Would probably recommend but.

This place is great I was not sure but both my headlights went out. I could not figure out what was wrong. They figured it out within a couple hours called me and I was on my way which is great. Very reasonable in price. Very friendly staff

Well that Marathon that that my whole family frequented for thirty years, when Cal owned it, is not that place anymore. They did not call and communicate with me as to the status of my car. Dustin, the owner was abrasive and seemed to be in a bad mood. Joe the mechanic was good and his work seems on point. Then I had to wait while the employee rewrote my bill due to the owner not being aware of an extra service performed on my car. They had the car for 7 hours and could not fix my window properly even though I made it easy for them because I already had the inside of the door apart for them The window worked fine before so I will take it to another contact I have to fix it properly.Extremely disappointing experience and I do not recommend this place if you are expecting good customer service and basic communication.Also the price I was quoted for an oil change tire rotation was " about 50.00 for oil change, 25.00 for tire rotation and then I expected about 50 to 75 for my window installation but my bill came to nearly double that.I will never be taking my car here again.I miss you Cal.After analyzing the bill, they say the oil changes $50 but then they charge you for an oil filter and it's something called shop supplies a cabin air filter air filter if $52 was for my window the labor a window they told me I can't use and so really it's ridiculous.My response to theirs.I will not get into a war of words with these folks. But I think smart intellectual people will read between the lines of how she responded and you can make your own judgment on these people, who in my opinion lack customer service skills and once again they are lying because I gave them the window to install and it worked fine for weeks Alll I did was take out the inner panel I didn't touch any other parts so they are making that up to cover for their own incompetence.All they had to do is slide the window in on the regulator and attach two screws and it will work. I know this because this is all a friend did this morning for me. There were no missing parts as the office " manager" claims.I stand by everything I stated because I am about truth and honesty.

I am so grateful for the marathon station inventor on the lake andrew's road twice now they have taken care of my Car quickly and expertly. They are always there to help and I recommend them highly happy peopvery kind and honey try them if you have car issues.

I had called Marathon after our CEL came on and explained what was supposedly the issue. They immediately had a spot open for us to get the car in only a couple days later and got the work done and then some within the same day and less than I had anticipated! They were extremely friendly and professional. Until this, we didn’t really have a go to mechanic that wasn’t a family member so it was an anxious process but they made it so easy and gained a customer for life.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Val's is one of the last stand alone car repair shops in the 44060. The are fair, honest, reasonably priced & great mechanics. The corporate shops are only good for tires & oil changes.
