I purchased paint at another Ace Hardware and needed it to be shook and took it to this Ace and they refused. It had never been opened other than to be mixed. I went to Home Depot…they shook it for me no problem. I prefer not to go to big box stores, but this Ace has been less than helpful on several occasions when I have asked for assistance. I did find an Ace to give my business to that has great customer service.

Literally, everything in this store is overpriced by almost half. And when I asked about price matching for other stores, they said they don't do price match...... Take your money elsewhere. Don't just give your money to these people. Literally everything is double the price.....

As of 7/31/25, the store on this side is closed. Someone needs to update the Google listing to direct you to the store on the other side of the street, next to the Speedway.

My husband and I recently visited this location to have a key made. Upon entering, one employee greeted us promptly, offered assistance, and kindly walked us to the key-making area—great start.
However, another employee nearby didn’t acknowledge us but noticeably watched us as we passed. While the first employee was making our key, I saw that the second one had turned around and was still staring at us the entire time, which made us uncomfortable.
After receiving our key, we started walking to the front to pay. My husband stopped to look at wood chips for grilling, and I checked out some bird food in the same aisle. When we turned around, we were startled to see that the second employee had followed us and was standing directly behind us, just silently watching.
It felt intrusive and unnecessary. We paid and left, but I was concerned enough to call the store afterward and ask to speak with a manager. While the manager apologized and said he would review the camera footage, that was the end of the conversation— no follow-up.
We support local hardware stores and prefer them over big chains, but this experience left us feeling uneasy and unwelcome. I hope the store addresses this kind of behavior and ensures that all customers feel respected.

Amazing place. Everyone is super helpful when I go in and the employees don’t try to just sell you stuff, they will actually talk to you and help you learn more.
