My first car!
Now, I’m VAG for life.
One Year Later (almost): Update - This car has not a single code or error to date.
Multiple times over, people have gotten in and said (without cohesion) “this thing is smooth.. it drives like it’s brand new.”
A gem, I’ll say again. The first car experience I prayed for many times over.
No major trouble yet (little bit of Ohio rust).
Before we begin, I must add that their detailing and cleaning of my car before pickup was awesome; the car was so clean you could lick it and he made sure to pull it inside on the cold day I came to make my deposit, then pulled it outside on the warmer day for pickup.
My experience was great, the car was in amazing shape and looked even better than the photos; I will say, the car I looked at might’ve been a unicorn. (Knock on wood).
I bought a used Jetta, 2012 2.5L, my salesperson Chris made the process extremely comforting and assuring, he was very clear that this car was sold as is, but still let me know that it was not a warning, more of a guiding statement, as the car was in beautiful working condition.
Another thing I respected, if he didn’t know why something on the records was done; he didn’t lie and make up a backstory, simply told me he did not know and gave me his best explanation based on history and such.
At first I was nervous that my experience would be less than satisfactory since I was not buying a $150k Rs6, however that wasn’t entirely the case.
My car looked practically brand new, just as new as I could afford and the records were there, I got-unseen to me from the listing—spare tire, which was nice and an extra set of winter/summer floor mats.
Anyway, what I appreciated was receiving both keys, a valve stem cap upon my request and what really made me happy was the full tank of gas, my family and I were grateful, we had a two hour trip back home and that gave us one less thing to worry about.
On my way home, the car drove better than I had hoped and better than I wished for.
Allover a great experience for me and much, much better than I anticipated.
I’d recommend Chris through and through, he seems to be the nicest guy in there too.
(Not that the others aren’t)

Last thing, it felt no different than buying the $150k rs6, I guess is my claim for this review, they put the same amount of effort into giving me a good experience and spiffing up the presentation as they would anything else in their showroom.
Only other thing that could’ve been done was offering another 100k mile warranty haha.

Purchased a 2025 Q5 from Kevin and the experience from start to finish was amazing! He made everything easy and the whole process was quick. I’ve been bringing my cars to Audi Mentor for close to two decades, and Dale has always taken great care of me. On my recent visit with my 2021 Q3, I met Clayton for the first time and was equally impressed by his professionalism and courtesy.

I felt as though this was a personal journey I went on. When I sent a message about the vehicle, Kevin responded with a video and made it very personal by calling me by name and showing me the vehicle.
I had a very personal and positive experience with Kevin. From the start, he made the process easy by responding personally and addressing my questions. At the appointment, he met me in the parking lot, listened to my situation, and offered a test drive on both the highway and residential areas.
