Essentially this is a mediocre credit Union at best. They have made simple clerical errors in our account, and also the accounts of our two adult children. They seem to get names confused regardless of account numbers. We just paid off a home equity loan using their payoff figures, and now they are saying that we still owe $32.09, even though that was the exact amount of interest we had paid in the payoff. Seems like it’s a Mickey Mouse operation where simple math is a problem for them.

My mother has recently had some severe health issues. I was attempting to get online access to her account to be able to manage and pay her bills. I had power of attorney and a medical release from the facility. Not only did this branch give me the run around, they failed to help many times over. I talked to three people on separate occasions and not one mentioned there was another name on the account. So I've had to jump through so many hoops and I still have yet to be able to accomplish anything accept frustration. They won't call you back or help you. Be wary.

Obtaining a car loan was an absolute breeze. Jennifer let me know the information she needed, took care of the processing, and explained everything clearly at closing. Plus, their rates were the best I could find. If I could have given the. 6 stars, I would have.

I can’t tell you how pleased I am with Cardinal Credit union Mentor Branch and Richmond Heights Branch. At the Mentor Branch Jennifer Reshetar took time to get me together re-establish Credit and auto loan and coming soon my new House. After the Big Company Shut down and layoffs I had to rely on my savings and assistance. Thank you Jennifer and Cardinal Credit Union for working with me to get back in my feet. Cardinal has really changed my financial game over the past 10 years! I became a member by my grandparents referral, and the first thing they did was help me with a debt consolidation loan to recover from lots of silly choices I made in college. I paid that off, paid off my student loans, became practically debt free with an 800 credit score, and now they' just helped me finance my dream car, which the process was EXTREMELY fast and simple, and they've also preapproved me for my first home purchase with rates that are far better than other lenders I've checked. Their loan agents (for consolidation, car, and home) have ALL been extremely friendly, helpful, and fast to respond!!

If you want good customer service, then you should go any but here. I have a car loan with them. Over the years I have had so many different poor interaction with the staff at any of these locations in Lake County. I'm writing this review now as I've been on hold for over 15 minutes while I'm just trying to get the payoff for my auto loan. I'm fussing they are going to close at 1pm on this Sat. and leave me holding still. WAIT, the call just dropped and it now 1:01pm. I called in at 12:40pm. This bank does not offer online payments from your own checking account without charging you. They don't have a night drop at all locations to drop off payments. Many other banks offer convenient along with today's technology to be able to make payments all sorts of ways. I'm at the point now where I would prefer to pay more in a higher interest rate at a different bank like Chase, PNC, Huntington, 5th/3rd, or any number of other banks,for the piece of mind to know that I will receive excellent customer service and be able to make online payments for free. They might sometimes have the lowest rates, but back to you get what you pay for. If they didn't have good rates sometimes, they would be zero stars instead of the 1 star I gave them. DO NOT GO HERE!! Ps. I was left on hold for the last 20 minutes until they dropped the call and then closed for the day.
